NRL star Thomas Burgess celebrates 31st birthday with wife Tahlia Giumelli and their two daughters: ‘I am a very lucky man’
Thomas Burgess celebrated his 31st birthday with friends and family on Friday.
The NRL star and his wife Tahlia Giumelli shared reels of photos from his big day on their Instagram pages, showing an intimate look at the celebrations.
He spent his day eating a homemade football pie with his partner and their daughters Elodie and Sophie before heading to the pub with his mates.
Thomas capped off the big day with a lavish lobster and steak dinner with his 30-year-old wife Tahlia.
‘What a great birthday weekend, love all my people! Thanks to everyone for the kind messages,” Thomas wrote in his birthday post a few days later.

Tahlia responded below his role with family photos, saying, “Funny that we once said we’d be over 30 before we had kids and that our little angels celebrated our 30th and 31st birthdays with us.”
Meanwhile, she shared a post on her own page with a sweet video of their four-year-old daughter Sophie talking about the decorations she “helped” put up.
“Loved waking up this morning to the girls so excited and proud to show you the cards they made for you and put up all the decorations they “helped” and see you excited to go and pretend you didn’t see it when you came in last night,” Tahlia wrote.

She went on to say that while their lives “can be tough at times,” she is “grateful” to have Thomas and their two little girls in her life.
‘I’m a very lucky man that my special girls spoiled me on my birthday! I love you so much,’ Thomas replied.
The celebrations come after Thomas got into hot water with footy fans earlier this month after appearing to grab a rival player’s genitals during South Sydney’s win over Canterbury.

Latrell Mitchell stole the show at the Accor Stadium when he grabbed a hat-trick to help Jason Demetriou’s side to a dominant victory over their NRL rivals on Good Friday.
But furious eagle-eyed fans saw a grub act by the England striker committed 12 minutes into the second half.
Thomas was spotted leaving Bulldogs star Josh Reynolds in a heap after appearing to be squeezing his genitals with his left arm.
Referee Gerard Sutton, however, did not see the incident, nor did the Bunker judge it, and Thomas’ act went unpunished.
