NRL champion Darius Boyd, 36, and his wife Kayla, 35, have secured a major property win after selling their luxury Queensland home for a staggering $4.55 million.
The five-bedroom, four-bathroom Brisbane mansion sold within days of being put up for sale, with no guide price.
The luxurious two-story Mediterranean-style home was scheduled to go under the hammer on August 3.
But the house, located in Grange, 6km from the CBD, was snapped up by a buyer after just one inspection, reports The courier post.
According to the publication, 198 people showed up for a tour of the property’s only open day.
According to Realestate.com, the home was the most viewed listing on the site, having been viewed 13,000 times as of July 15.
The average price for homes in the neighborhood is $2.3 million.
Darius and Kayla completed renovations to the property last year after purchasing the lot for $1.6 million in 2022.

They demolished the post-war house that originally stood on this site.
The duo enlisted Rouge Architect and construction company CHS to complete the construction of the beautiful home, which they named Mala in honor of a friend of Kayla’s who passed away three years ago.
The property is designed with a clear Spanish influence and features a swimming pool and entertainment deck with adjoining terrace and covered terrace.

Darius retired from first-class football in 2020 after a successful career with the Broncos, St. George and the Newcastle Knights.
In 2012, he married Kayla.
The couple have three children: daughters Willow, eight, Romi Yves, four, and Gia, three.
In April, they announced that they were expecting a fourth child, a boy, who is due in August.
