NRL star Braith Anasta is roasted for hilarious detail in photos of his boys’ night out after his heroic pub act
Former NRL star Braith Anasta was criticised by fans after a night out with the lads in Sydney last weekend.
The NRL 360 co-host went out for dinner with friends at popular Sydney Chinese restaurant Mr Wong on Sunday. Fans were quick to notice a hilarious detail in a group photo he shared that night.
Braith, 42, posted a photo on Instagram showing the party of six people (except for one guest), all wearing white shirts.
One fan was angry at Braith for the color scheme, asking if the group had already picked out their outfits in advance.
“Do you decide the color scheme for the outfits in the group chat?” they asked, to which Braith replied good-naturedly, “Yes, it’s a Mykonos theme.”
Another was quick to point out how brave the gang was to eat in white.
“Nothing says confidence like a white T-shirt on the sidewalk, and I’m likely to get a stain on it,” they joked.
“Boring white shirts on sale?” asked another, while a fan noted another striking similarity in the group.

In bizarre scenes, a guest pulled a fire extinguisher off the wall at around 8:30pm and began spraying the bar, flooding stunned guests at the event.
Ali Daher, showbiz reporter for Ny Breaking Australia, was there and saw Braith hold back the man, believed to be in his late 20s, as he tried to flee with one of his mates.
The 2004 Bulldogs championship winner wasn’t having it and violently grabbed the man by the collar, as seen in exclusive footage.
Despite initial reports, Braith held the prankster until police arrived, but a police spokesman said the man had “already left the scene” by the time officers arrived.
“When it happened I was in the bar… I saw the guy get the fire extinguisher and I thought, ‘He’s not going to spray that?'” he told Ny Breaking Australia.
‘He sprayed it at everyone, people got soaked, their clothes were torn.
‘Everyone was shocked and disappointed, it ruined a great evening.’
A New South Wales Police spokesperson said on Saturday: ‘At approximately 8.30pm on Friday (13 September 2024), officers from the Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were called to a hotel on Bronte Road, Waverley following reports that a man had sprayed the contents of a fire extinguisher into the business.
‘Police arrived and found the man had already left the scene. The hotel was evacuated, but no injuries were reported.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
‘As the investigation is ongoing, anyone with information is urged to contact Waverley Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.’
