Former NRL star Curtis Scott has once again made headlines for his bad behavior off the pitch, this time for being caught on video throwing wild blows at an opposing player during a football brawl.
The incident occurred while he was playing for Thirlmere in the Wests Group Macarthur first grade competition and comes just five months after he was found guilty of threatening to kill his former partner Tay-Leiha Clark.
The footage shows Scott landing multiple blows to his opponent’s head before other players intervene and stop the fight.
He was later sent off for hitting and will face punishment from the NSWRL match review committee.
Scott, who had reportedly already scored two tries in the match, claimed he had an eye gouged out before retaliating with a flurry of punches.
His Thirlmere teammate, former NRL star Blake Ferguson, backed up his claim on social media along with former Wests Tigers striker Bryce Gibbs, according to news corporation.
This incident is just the latest in a long line of troubling behavior off the field by Scott.
In November 2022, Scott was found guilty of assaulting and threatening his ex-partner Clark during their two-year relationship.
The court heard Scott say ‘fuck you, I’m going to kill you’, called Clark ‘w***e’ and ‘s**t’, and also threatened to kill himself, before driving into a tree.
He was sentenced to a 12-month community corrections order and fined $1,400. Magistrate Daniel Covington convicted Scott of assaulting Ms. Clark, causing her actual bodily harm and intimidating her in a telephone call.

Former NRL Raiders player Curtis Scott and his partner Zali Fay leave the Downing Center home court in Sydney in November last year.
Scott played for the Melbourne Storm and Canberra Raiders before his contract was terminated.
The court heard that Scott had put his hand on Ms Clark’s neck and ‘thrown’ her over a lounge into a wall, causing her to skin her arm and have an egg-sized lump on her head. head.
He had his contract terminated by the Raiders in 2021 after a series of misconduct, including being arrested and charged with seven offenses, including assaulting two police officers, in an incident in which he fell asleep under a tree in Moore Park.
The charges were ultimately dismissed after camera footage of the arresting officers was shown in court.
Scott was also sent off while playing for the Melbourne Storm in 2018 for hitting then-Manly star Dylan Walker.
Walker suffered a broken eye socket from the incident, and Scott received a two-game suspension.
