Now Gwyneth Paltrow’s nepo baby Apple Martin is caught rolling her eyes at debutant date in viral video
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s daughter, Apple Martin, had a less than enthusiastic conversation with her date at a debutante ball in Paris last weekend.
Apple, 20, rolled her eyes at the brave Count Leo Henckel von Donnersmarck, who accompanied her to the glitzy event.
Before making their grand entrance at the prom, the young duo was seen chatting together in a video shared TikTok.
Leo, who comes from the Austro-Hungarian noble family House of Henckel von Donnersmarck, made a playful dance gesture while talking to Apple, who seemed less amused.
Soon after, Apple visibly rolled her eyes, seemingly in response to a comment from her date.
It wasn’t the only time she raised eyebrows at the ball. She was also accused of having a ‘mean girl’ moment after a video emerged of her stealing the spotlight from another girl in the photo.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s 20-year-old daughter Apple Martin rolled her eyes at her date, Count Leo Henckel von Donnersmarck, who accompanied her to a debutante ball in Paris this weekend.
DailyMail.com has contacted an Apple representative for comment.
After their conversation, Apple and Leo were pictured making their way to the ballroom.
Apple stunned in a strapless sky blue dress from Valentino’s Spring 2025 collection as she gracefully danced with her eligible date.
She was one of about twenty young women presented at the prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes at the $1,000-a-night Hotel Shangri-La.
And while the debutantes take center stage, each of them is paired with a ‘cavalier’, often young men from a similar background, to make their grand entrance at the ball.
Leo is the son of film director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck and Christiane Asschenfeldt, the first international executive director of Creative Commons.
He is the descendant of a large and noble Austro-German family who were central figures of the 2nd Industrial Revolution and spearheaded technological innovations such as mild steel factories, three-height rolling mills and soft drink pulp in Germany.
Aside from his family ties, little is known about Apple’s date, which only has two Instagram to inform.
His most recent includes photos of him and Apple at the prom.
It is believed that he attends Columbia University in New York City and is part of the university rowing club, as he has tagged both in his bio.

Last year, Leo’s sister Countess Lara Cosima made her debut at the prestigious event.
During the evening, Leo cut a very dapper figure in a black morning suit jacket with a white shirt and bow tie and black trousers.
Leo and Apple crossed their arms as they entered the luxurious ballroom before she blew a kiss to her proud dad Chris.
The Coldplay star playfully tapped her date on the arm as they walked past their dining room table.
The pair later took their positions on the dance floor and gracefully waltzed around the room as Leo gently christened Apple.
Her famous parents Chris and Gwyneth couldn’t take their eyes off their daughter.
Apple’s mother Gwyneth was there to celebrate with ex-husband Chris and their son Moses, 18, and her mother Blythe Danner.
Many people were shocked by Apple’s behavior after a video emerged of her stealing the spotlight from another girl in the photo.

The other debutante was seen posing for the camera in turn as Martin appeared from behind and came into view.
Martin posed with her hands on her hips and pushed her way into the frame, forcing the other girl out.
The debutante could do nothing but watch with an awkward smile as Martin pouted and posed for several photos.
Finally she finishes and steps aside, almost cutting off another debutante who is waiting her turn for a photo.
The move did not go down well on social media after the footage, taken by French outlet Paris Match, was shared on TikTok.
“How obnoxious and entitled she is,” one viewer wrote.
“Oh wow, why did Apple do that? Let the other girl have a moment,” another added.
“Not good behavior for such an event,” a third person agreed, while another described it as “giving Regina George a hand,” referring to the infamous queen bee in the movie Mean Girls.
The Vanderbilt University student has largely stayed out of the public eye, but has decided to start a new chapter in her life.
The family joined an exclusive list of attendees who were all personally invited by the ball’s host, Ophélie Renouard.
Apple’s mother Gwyneth was present to celebrate her along with ex-husband Chris Martin and their son Moses, 18, and her mother Blythe Danner
Renouard invites her guests based on their appearance, intelligence and family ties.
The event is being billed as a charity fundraiser and will, according to Hello! benefit two entities related to children’s health.
The debutants on the entry list include European royalty as well as the daughters of A-list celebrities.
Ava Philippe, 25, the daughter of Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philippe, attended in 2017. Emily in Paris star, Lily Collins, 35, made her debut in 2007.
