Novak Djokovic called for a loudmouth tennis fan to be sent off at the Australian Open after being subjected to constant interruptions at Rod Laver Arena.
Djokovic, 35, took matters into his own hands during their second round match, telling the referee that the bystander in question was trying to “get into my head” throughout the draw.
“The guy is completely drunk, from the first moment he has been provoking me,” he said. He’s not here to watch tennis. He just wants to get into my head.
‘What are you gonna do about it? Why don’t you call security to get him out of the stadium?
A security officer was then seen talking to a group of fans dressed as Where’s Wally? in an attempt to calm things down.
Despite the drunkards’ best efforts, they were unable to prevent Djokovic from advancing to the third round, with the Serb defeating Enzo Couacaud 6-1, 6-7, 6-2, 6-0.
