Nova’s Tim Blackwell reveals the ‘RUDEST celebrity’ he’s ever interviewed: ‘That’s the last we’ll see of her’
Nova FM host Tim Blackwell has called the “rude celebrity” he has ever interviewed in his 20-year radio career.
Appears on the Shock Jocks podcast this week, 41-year-old Blackwell claimed the star he least enjoyed meeting was pop singer Rihanna after a disastrous on-air interview in the mid-2000s.
Rihanna was in Australia at the time promoting her song Pon de Replay and, according to Blackwell, had quite the attitude.
“She came into the studio, she must have been about 17 or something, and she did the interview with me and she was something like this (pictured below),” Blackwell claimed.
“She spoke very softly and gave me one-word answers. Anyway, [at the end of the interview] we got up and no kidding, I turned to my producer and said, ‘Last we see her!'” he added.

His prediction couldn’t be more wrong as the singer from Barbados would go on to become one of the world’s most successful musicians and businesswomen.
Most recently, the Grammy Award winner made history this week after becoming the first female artist ever to have 10 songs with over 1 billion streams on Spotify.
It’s not the first time Blackwell has spoken out about his more regretful celebrity interviews.
Blackwell recalled his disastrous on-air interview with the Umbrella singer in the mid-2000s during an interview with the Shock Jocks podcast this week. “She came into the studio, she must have been about 17 or something, and she did the interview with me and she was something like this (see photo below),” he claimed

In 2016, he admitted to interviewing Katy Perry with a piece of pizza meat accidentally stuck to his neck.
‘I hurried to [Perry’s] hotel to talk to her as she smashes a piece [pizza] en route. During the interview, everything went as planned, but when I got home, my wife said, “What’s that on your neck?” he told News Corp.
‘It was a piece of pizza meat! I had sat shoulder to shoulder with Katy for almost 20 minutes with a piece of unknown flesh on my neck that she thought was a growth or something like that.’
“Polite as ever, she never said a word about it.”
