Nouda shrine is found in the Hebra Mountains region. It’s cold there, so you need something spicy meals or elixirs or, even better, the Snowquill Armor set.

The exact location is (-2319, 2201, 0173). The shrine is way west-southwest of Snowfield Stable (and Orochium Shrine). Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower is located slightly north of the sanctuary.

Nouda Shrine is located in the Kopeeki Drifts Cave. Look for the big box canyon west of Snowfield Stable. The cave is along the south wall – there should be one Blupee there to guide you.

In the cave you will find a large pond with icy water – and the shrine is on the other side.

Take the first right through a narrow tunnel to a Ice like next to a much smaller pond. When the Ice Like sees you, it starts to inhale its ice breath and creates a pile of ice cubes on the pond. Collect those and carry them back to the larger room.

Use the squares of ice to cross the water – you can jump with Ultrahand and only two squares, build an airboat if you have the Zonai devices, or just make a really long bridge (it takes about 12 squares to cross the water to span).

Nouda shrine walkthrough

Nouda shrine is a Proving Grounds challenge, so it takes away all of your gear and armor and tasks you with defeating a handful of Constructs using exactly what you can find or clear out.

1. As you enter Nouda Shrine, take the wooden stick, thick stick, old wooden bowAnd arrows at the right.

2. As soon as you grab the bow, look into the arena and slightly to the right. Take out the Construct on the platform there, then walk around the platform (counterclockwise to avoid detection) to find a ladder. Climb up and take the fire fruits.

3. Melt a fire fruit into an arrow and shoot it at the creepers on the right wall. That will destroy a platform and a Zonai shock transmitter will fall for you to use (F).

4. Turn it on and place it near the fan on the left to create an updraft, or use it to charge the battery there for a mobile electrocution device. Or you can just fuse it with a weapon to make a shock club.

5. Do the rest of the Constructs in the way and order you want. (It’s a lot of fun using Ascend to pop up behind them for a quick Sneakstrike.)

6. Go through the exit and open the chest for one savory elixirand then collect your Light of blessing.
