Nottingham Forest will receive recordings of conversations between referee Anthony Taylor and VAR Stuart Attwell about their defeat to Everton against PGMOL in the coming days, and the audio could be broadcast publicly when the next Referees Mic’d Up program airs next week.

Mail Sport has learned that one of Forest’s three criminal cases not referred to VAR by Taylor is likely to feature in next week’s show, with PGMOL chief Howard Webb and Michael Owen analyzing recent Premier League refereeing decisions .

Forest demanded audio recordings of the three incidents be made public in a series of extraordinary statements released on Monday, which saw the club, manager Nuno Espirito Santos, defender Neco Williams and referee consultant Mark Clattenburg all face charges from the FA.

While PGMOL is unhappy with the behavior of Forest, who appear to be questioning Attwell’s integrity, they will comply with the club’s request for the audio of his conversations with Taylor, as they would with any club.

PGMOL also remains committed to the policy to provide greater transparency, which was introduced when Webb moved from Major League Soccer last season, with the result that one of the incidents is likely to be discussed on Mic’d Up, although the list with talking points for the program yet to be confirmed.

However, there are currently no plans to release all the audio publicly, as PGMOL did last October after Liverpool’s defeat to Tottenham, when VAR officials Darren England and Dan Cook failed to overturn an offside decision, incorrectly thought Luis Diaz’s goal had been awarded. the field by referee Simon Hooper.

In the Mic’d Up program on Sky Sports and TNT Sport which started this season, Webb and Owen analyze between four and six controversial incidents.

The next show will be recorded next Monday and air the next day.

Forest were furious at being denied three penalties in the defeat at Goodison Park, particularly the third incident where Taylor appeared to miss a foul from Ashley Young on Callum Hudson-Odoi, which Attwell decided not to review.

PGMOL declined to comment.
