Notorious former Hells Angels gang member Dayne Brajkovich narrowly escapes with his life after being stabbed in the neck at a Ministry of Sound concert in Perth

One of Australia's most recognizable motorcyclists is in a stable condition in hospital after he was stabbed in the neck during a brawl outside a music festival in Perth.

Dayne Brajkovich, 44, was rushed to hospital after he was allegedly stabbed as festivalgoers left Ministry of Sound Classic at Kings Parks in the city's CBD at around 9.50pm on Friday evening.

The infamous biker was a former sergeant-at-arms with the Hells Angels before being expelled from the club in 2022 following a dispute with the local president.

WA Police confirmed a man in his 40s was treated at Royal Perth Hospital for a serious laceration to his neck that required surgery.

It is understood he will be discharged on Saturday evening while Perth detectives investigate the incident.

WA Police are investigating whether outlaw motorcycle gangs are behind the brawl with a group of people who witnessed the incident saying those involved left the area “on multiple motorcycles”.

“There were a large number of people in the immediate vicinity of the incident and detectives are looking for any images that show the incident or the people involved,” a police spokesperson said.

One person said on social media that he had been at the event and that there were “tons of police cars racing in and a police helicopter flying over King Parks around 10:30 p.m.”

Before he became Australia's most recognizable cyclist, Brajkovich was a fresh-faced teenager, without a tattoo in sight

There are no more suspects in custody on Saturday afternoon.

Brajkovich, who has served just one prison term for selling MDMA, claims he has left the motorcycle and drug trades behind and concentrated on his properties.

He owns at least three houses in the Perth area.

Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to contact police.

Brajkovich, who is almost entirely covered in tattoos, is a regular in WA newspapers and gained notoriety for beating up Rebels boss Nick Martin weeks before he was killed at Perth Motorplex in 2020.

He previously told The West Australian that when he left the Hells Angels club, he confronted the then president in the clubhouse on Friday evening.

'I didn't have anyone else, so I took (wife) Jacinta with me. She would follow me anywhere,” he said.

Brajkovich (pictured with wife Jacinta Hill and stepdaughter Audrina) has been snapped up from the Hells Angels by big honchos and is focusing on his property empire, which owns three investment properties in the Belmont area of Perth.

He added that he also brought along his “favorite homemade steel brass knuckles to see if they still worked.”

“To be fair, he (the gang president) had a broken leg and was on crutches, but he always bragged about being ex-military and ex-SAS.”

The pair fought with Brajkovich saying he drove a crutch into the man's broken leg for good measure and he walked out as a member.

He also made headlines when he walked into the Perth Mint in June 2022 and bought $27,000 worth of gold bullion.

Despite the Mint requiring in-depth background checks on customers deemed “high-risk,” Brajkovich's attorney said all he had to do was show his driver's license.
