An Australian influencer went all out to troll Taylor Swift on Monday as the superstar landed on her private jet at Sydney airport.
Conservative political commentator Kobie Thatcher joined a small group of fans to hit out at Taylor over the megastar’s attacks on former US President Donald Trump.
Kobie stood with a group of young fans braving the wet weather and held a sign that read: “Swifties for Trump.”
The outspoken social media identity later posted an image of her protest on X.
Thatcher told her followers: ‘I’m certainly not a fan of hers but decided to give the Trump-hating Taylor Swift a fitting welcome as she landed in Sydney on her private jet today.

Thatcher’s message divided X users.
“What a sad and miserable life you must live Kobie,” one angry Swiftie wrote, while another agreed: “Imagine what a sad life you must have doing this.”
“Good thing you’re near a fire hydrant so you can put out the box fire that is your sad life,” another added.
“There’s nothing like ruining a young fan’s day with your presence.”
Taylor made headlines in 2020 with a tweet she made attacking then-President Trump for “fanning the flames of white supremacy and racism” during his time in the Oval Office
Thatcher’s post received a slew of negative comments from X users
But others approved of Thatcher’s attempt to throw shade at Taylor.
“Lol you made my day Kobie, I would love to see her reaction,” posted X-user Skye, Trump’s Spy.
Another Thatcher supporter congratulated her on her ‘guts’ and asked if she had tackled ‘abuse’ from fans.
“No abuse, but don’t think some news reporters were too amused,” Thatcher replied.
Taylor made headlines in 2020 with a tweet she made attacking then-President Trump during his time in the Oval Office.

The Shake It Off singer condemned Trump on social media for his comments on the violence that broke out following the police-related shooting of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
“After fanning the flames of white supremacy and racism throughout your presidency, you have the audacity to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts, the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump,” Swift wrote in the tweet.
Thatcher has gained a following on social media as a critic of ‘wokeness’.
She has been particularly outspoken about Australia’s COVID response, Indigenous issues and LGBTQT issues.
