Shocking moment a shark feasts on a crocodile just metres away from shocked beach-goers

The shocking moment a bull shark began feasting on a crocodile just meters from the shoreline has been captured by terrified beachgoers.
Two women walking along the beach at Nhulunbuy, a remote town on the Northern Territory’s Gove Peninsula, filmed the horrific scene this week.
They started by filming the crocodile lying face up on the shoreline before a shark suddenly wormed its way out of the water and sank its teeth into the carcass.
The shark pulled the crocodile back into the water and took a big bite out of it.
The carcass slowly floats away as the now well-fed shark disappears underwater.
The video has shocked and awed both Australian and international viewers with its graphic scenes.
“The crocodile is already dead, so there’s not much to see,” said an unimpressed local.

“So I never go to the beach in ankle-high water,” said a viewer from the US.
“The shark was damn near out of the water, no more beach for me,” another foreigner added.
“As Australian as it gets,” said a fourth.
Nhulunbuy, in the Arnhem Land region, is the fourth largest city in the Northern Territory with a population of 3,267.
It is not an uncommon sight to see crocodiles and sharks mingling together, as they largely eat the same diet.
It’s a little rarer to see them face each other.
Marine biologist Lauren Sandeman said both animals are opportunistic predators, so that could explain why they could see each other as food.
“They are both marine predators and opportunists, so they will eat what they can, whenever they can,” Ms. Sandeman told YahooNews.
