A group of fishermen have been left speechless after crossing paths with a huge crocodile while walking to a fishing spot a few hours east of Darwin
You can hear one of the fishermen say “holy s**t” as the crocodile traversed shallow water on its way to a nearby creek.
‘Holy f**k we’re lucky,’ you hear someone say.
Another said, “Did we have to walk through that?”
The video shows the group bravely approaching the crocodile as it swims away.
“Holy f**k, we hadn’t seen that,” someone said.
The group said they knew there were crocodiles in the area, but were unwilling to see a predator that size.
Mr McCormack said the incident happened in 2022, but he uploaded footage to TikTok this year to “show the world some of the things we’re doing in the area”.
“We knew there were crocodiles in the billabong we were going to, but definitely didn’t expect the big guy, especially in the little puddle we found him in,” he said. Yahoo.
“It (the Norther Territory) is definitely a very rugged place and you don’t have to travel far at all to get amazing experiences, it’s a place like nowhere else.”

Social media users were shocked by the sheer size of the predator.
“I wouldn’t want to be there after that,” one wrote.
“That’s probably the one who took my hunting dog from that area. You should be safe there,” a second added.
“Be careful my friend,” wrote another.
