North Queensland vs Dolphins: Cowboys fans think their season is already OVER

North Queensland fans think their season is already OVER after their side’s ‘disgraceful’ performance against the Dolphins after Jamayne Isako rioted to stun last year’s preliminary finalists in Townsville

North Queensland fans fear for their side’s season after falling behind NRL newcomers, the Dolphins, after a dismal first-half performance.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow came back to chase his former side, while Jamayne Isako scored his first NRL hat-trick to give Wayne Bennett’s side a 12-26 lead in Townsville.

Todd Payten’s side have had a slow start to the new season, having secured a surprise spot in the Preliminary Final last year, and worried fans believe their season is over after just six rounds.

“Who is this team in 2023?” one fan asked. “Did they train off-season?”

“That’s game and the season to be honest,” said another.

“If only the Cowboys knew how to tackle #under7s,” a third fan posted.

Other fans gave a scathing verdict on their side’s performance in the first 40 minutes.

“Your players are a disgrace to your club, this city and the players who came before you,” said one fan, while another added: “Disgraceful.”

“Really, really, really pathetic performance.”
