North Dandenong Porsche petrol station alleged carjacking as cops investigate Melbourne brawl

Horrifying footage shows a machete-wielding teenager and his friends chasing a driver before allegedly stabbing him and stealing his Porsche in Melbourne before a night of violence rocked the city.
CCTV captured the alleged attack that took place outside a gas station on Stud Road in North Dandenong at 10 p.m. on Saturday.
Police are investigating whether the incident was related to one of the brawls that took place the same night with three separate attacks that rocked the city, in which one was stabbed to death and seven others rushed to hospital.

CCTV captured the alleged attack that took place outside a gas station on Stud Road in North Dandenong at 10 p.m. on Saturday.
One was on King Street, the other on Bourke Street and the third 0.8 miles away in Southbank, where the incidents took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 53-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds as a result of the alleged carjacking at the gas station, while his passengers, a 25-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, were unharmed.
Footage shows the group of teenagers dressed in tracksuits approaching the Porsche parked next to a gas pump.
One of the alleged attackers was seen with a machete.
The female passenger was seen running for her life as the car door was opened before the group got into the luxury vehicle.
Police later found the allegedly stolen Porsche more than 20 miles away, left on Queen Street just after 3 a.m. on Sunday.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with aggravated car theft, motor vehicle theft, willful and reckless injury, assault in company and assault with a weapon.
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with aggravated car theft, theft of motor vehicles, a fight and assault with a weapon.
Both teens have been remanded in custody and will appear in juvenile court at a later date.
A 22-year-old man was also arrested, but was later released pending further investigation.
The alleged carjacking came as three attacks took place across Melbourne’s CBD.

Police set up separate crime scenes to investigate the two stabbing incidents in the city center and spent the morning searching for evidence as detectives work to identify the perpetrators.
In the fatal incident, emergency services were called to Bourke Street around 5:45 a.m. after reports of assault.
Two men were found with stab wounds and were taken to hospital in critical condition, where one of the victims, who has yet to be formally identified, later died.
The second man, in his twenties, is in stable condition in hospital with injuries to the upper body.
CCTV footage showed the brawl that broke out in front of McDonald’s at the Hardware Lane intersection, as several men punched each other.

Homicide Squad detectives have launched an investigation, with the exact circumstances surrounding the incident yet to be determined.
No arrests have been made for the murder at this time, but a man, 19, was taken into custody at the scene for a brawl and is helping police with their investigation.
Detectives cordoned off Bourke Street between Elizabeth Street and Queen Street on Sunday as they investigated the scene.
Troy Papworth, acting Superintendent of Victoria Police, confirmed that the man accused of the stabbing was on the run.
“(The alleged perpetrator) entered the city with intent to cause this crime, then they fled, and our police are still looking for things involving members of this group,” he said.
Earlier on Sunday, two men were found injured about 300 meters away after a wild brawl broke out outside the Inflation nightclub.

Police said the men were discovered with stab wounds 1.25 hours after a major brawl at the intersection of Flinders Lane and King Street.
A 19-year-old man with suspected serious injuries and an unknown man with life-threatening injuries were both taken to hospital.
A crime scene has been set up and the area has been cordoned off as detectives investigate the crime scene, which will also include officers from the Major Crime Scene Unit.
Police are investigating whether the two stabbings, which are only hours apart, are related and CCTV footage from the municipality and local businesses are expected to play a major role in the investigation.
Photos taken at the scene showed bloodstains on a car parked outside the nightclub.
Acting Superintendent Papworth said about eight people were believed to have been involved in the attack on King Street.
“We have investigators working to identify a number of incidents that took a young man’s life and several other young men were seriously injured,” he said.
‘The individual incidents have not yet been linked to each other at this stage.

In a third earlier incident, three men were injured after an attack in Southbank.
Police were told that two groups of men appeared to be arguing when they left a bar along Riverside Quay around 12:40 p.m.
The altercation reportedly centered on the promenade’s walkway, where three men were attacked by two other men.
A 25-year-old man from Springvale was badly punched in the face before falling and hitting his head on the ground.
The other two men, aged 24 and 25, from Keysborough and Cheltenham, suffered facial injuries.
The couple who, according to police, turned out to be the aggressors fled the scene.
