Their popular post-apocalyptic zombie series, The Walking Dead, finally came to an end last year after more than 10 years on the air.

But Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan haven’t let the latest episode stop them from maintaining a close friendship.

The former co-stars were spotted Friday catching up and having lunch together in New York City.

Although the duo looked just like all the other stylish city dwellers, the stars were still impossible to miss, with one lucky fan even snapping a selfie with the two.

Jeffrey, 57, and Norman, 54, were spotted in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, looking rugged and edgy in their all-black looks.

Jeffrey, who played Negan on the series, wore a relaxed, distressed V-neck jacket with a beaded necklace, adding an unexpectedly playful touch to the look.

He had a lit cigarette in his hand as he crossed the street next to his former opponent.

As for Norman – who played Daryl Dixon on the series – he opted for a black T-shirt, slacks and a “Powerplant” hat worn over his trademark shoulder-length locks.

The duo made one fan’s day by stopping for a selfie for her. They were also spotted enjoying a tasty lunch along the sidewalk.

Outside of their time on set, the duo have maintained a close friendship over the years.

“I spend a lot of time with Norman. Not only do we live next door to each other in Georgia, but we both have a great affinity for motorcycles,” said Jeffrey. ABC news back in 2016.

“And we spend a lot of time on the roads. It’s a great way to unwind and we have that in common. So I talk to him every day.’

While The Walking Dead came to an end late last year, Daryl and Negan’s journeys have continued in spin-offs.

Norman stars in the upcoming series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which has already been renewed for a second season despite not being released until September 10.

According to the show’s official description, Daryl somehow ends up in France and “has a hard time figuring out how he got there and why.”

The synopsis continues: ‘The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France, as he hopes to find a way back home.’

Jeffrey’s spin-off, The Walking Dead: Dead City, debuted on June 18 and has also been renewed for a second season.

Recently, AMC revealed that the name of another spin-off series – which will star Rick and Michonne – is officially called The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.

At this point, a release date for that show hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it’s expected to premiere sometime in 2024.
