Noosa locals are blown away by this spectacular riverside mansion when they walk by – now the owner has shared how it came to be and offered a look at the design marvel hidden inside

A spectacular mansion on the banks of the picturesque Noosa River regularly delights tourists and locals alike with its awe-inspiring facade and resort-style style.

And now the owner and designer of the breathtaking property has shared the inspiration behind it and offered a glimpse behind the sparkling doors.

Located on the sparkling river in Noosaville, Queensland, the ‘ONE W’ house is the brainchild of architect Paul Clout who lives there with his wife.

“We wanted the house to have a modern, streamlined look without losing the character, warmth and tropical feel that suits the location,” he told FEMAIL.

The main living area is designed as if it were floating above the water, taking full advantage of the views through ceiling-high windows.

“We had to distribute the living spaces across the three levels to achieve the spaces we needed that would also maximize the views,” he explained.

‘The house was designed mainly for my wife and me, the house had to be a place for us to live and enjoy with a relaxed yet understated feel, so when we were alone in the house it didn’t feel too big,’ he says. said.

“We also wanted our children and various guests to be able to come and stay whenever they wanted, so we also had to create spaces to accommodate them comfortably.”
