Non-league player is SENT OFF for decking the goalkeeper after opposition humiliate him by playing piggy in the middle with the forward as fans hail ‘peak s***housery’
Folkestone Invicta striker Tom Derry was sent off in bizarre circumstances during a non-competitive match on Saturday.
When the home side were 2-0 down to Billericay Town in an Isthmian Premier League match, play was stopped while a player on the pitch received medical treatment.
Derry looked keen to get the game going again and tried to get the ball back as Billericay goalkeeper Sam Donkin took shots.
As Derry tried to get the ball, Donkin and defender Matt Johnson spontaneously started a game of piggyback in midfield, leaving Derry increasingly frustrated.
Derry then charged at the keeper, knocked him to the ground and then grabbed the ball out of his hands.
