Non-binary influencer Deni Todorovic hit with a restraining order on behalf of a transgender artist

Non-binary activist Deni Todorovic has been hit with a restraining order.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal that the controversial influencer has been issued an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) by NSW Police on behalf of his former partner Mitchell Latham, a Sydney-based transgender artist.

The couple announced their relationship live on Instagram during this year’s Mardi Gras festival.

But Latham, who uses the pronouns she/she, is said to have pursued Todorovic after the activist’s erratic behavior on social media in recent weeks.

Todorovic, 35, from Melbourne, will appear in court in Newtown in Sydney’s inner west on Monday.

Todorovic posted a series of disturbing messages on social media after the warrant was withdrawn, but his family reassured his followers on Friday by saying, “He (is) safe and in good hands.”

Last month, Todorovic, who uses all pronouns, shared some photos of the couple together on Instagram.

“We chose to keep things off the program as long/short and as often/rarely as we wanted,” Todorovic told their 80,000 followers in April.

You have been some of the best 5 weeks of love I have experienced during my 35 short orbits around the sun.

“To another 5 weeks, months, days, hours, years, decades, lives.”

The pair also released a ‘Trans Lives Matter’ shirt collection designed by Latham.

The AVO comes after weeks of bizarre behavior from the 35-year-old who is currently in Sydney to attend Afterpay Australia Fashion Week.

The prominent queer fashionista made a “political” fashion statement on Tuesday, revealing her genitals to Newscorp journalists – Confidential’s Jonathan Moran and Page 13’s Alice Coster – during Australian Fashion Week.

“It was a harrowing situation, that’s true, it was harrowing because obviously they’re not doing well and the system, I think, has failed them and they need to be helped,” Moran told 2GB presenter Ben Fordham.

“They wore this man-kini type thing under their pants, so you could see quite a lot – there wasn’t much left to the imagination”

Just a day after the flashing scandal, Todorovic’s fashion week plans were thrown into disarray after being stopped by security at Nadia Bartel’s Henne show in Ultimo’s St Barnabas.

According to fashion sources, the organizers of the Afterpay Australian Fashion Week are furious. Todorovic’s antics this week have made more headlines than the designers in attendance.

Before the event had even started had a heated hour-long meeting with airport staff in Melbourne before flying to Sydney on a Jetstar flight.

Todorovic said he was subjected to “homophobic and racist” behavior by staff who asked him to pay $100 for excess baggage, then wrote in black marker: “Jetstar, suck my d***,” across the top of both thighs when he popped up at AAFW.

A Jetstar representative denied that the staff did anything wrong.

The model seemed upset and rested his head on his mother’s arm. No charges were filed.

Todorovic first rose to prominence when he landed a starring role as an ambassador for swimwear brand Seafolly, which led to a customer boycott in March.

But things have been loosening up for the influencer in a very public way for weeks.

Earlier this month, the model and activist began making wild accusations against close associates on social media and attacked brands Todorovic formally worked for.

But later erratic behavior and tirades led to the model being dumped from several public roles by underwear label Bonds, youth charity Minus 18 and gin brand Tanqueray.

Friends, family and fans have raised concerns about Todorovic’s mental health in recent weeks.

They claimed to have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and to have undergone treatment at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

“I’ve got a psychologist, a therapist, a psychiatrist, I’m going to the Banyans clinic, and they better not be fucking paparazzi when I get there,” they said.
