Noel Gallagher vows to copy Man City striker Erling Haaland by posing on stage in his underpants as he scores a hat-trick in Saturday’s Champions League final (just like Gary Lineker in 2016!)

Noel Gallagher has vowed to recreate Erling Haaland’s iconic underwear photo on stage if Manchester City win the Champions League on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s side are one game away from a historic Treble, having already captured the Premier League and FA Cup titles last month.
And with only Inter Milan standing between himself and a Champions League title, Gallagher has already started planning how he will celebrate.
The former Oasis singer revealed on the Man City club’s website that he will recreate the iconic picture of Haaland taken after their 4-1 win over Arsenal in April.
Gallagher revealed: “I won’t be in Istanbul – I always make sure the dates around the Champions League are free and usually it’s always around the end of May.

The former Oasis singer claimed he would recreate Erling Haaland’s iconic underwear photo on his next show
‘What was not taken into account was the World Cup and the domino effect. I’m contractually obligated to play the gig anyway and I’m fine with that – I’ll be watching the game in a bar in San Diego.
“If City win and Haaland scores a hat-trick, I’ll continue in my underpants.”
The 56-year-old was standing next to the Norwegian when the photo was taken in the City dressing room in April and also reflected on that hilarious moment.
“Erling asked for my picture, I was like ‘whoa, yeah but can you bend over a little bit?'” Gallagher revealed.
“He’s a beautiful boy and he has a nice big smile and he looks like a big happy boy. He is great.’
The legendary artist hopes his side will win the Champions League trophy for the first time in their history after suffering a broken heart in 2021.
Guardiola’s side were beaten 1-0 by Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea after Kai Havertz’ strike was enough to give the Blues a victory in Russia.
“I have to say the plague that came upon me after the Champions League final against Chelsea was the worst I’ve ever felt as a City fan,” he said.

The legendary singer also reflected on City’s heartbreaking defeat to Chelsea in 2021
“There was something in the air that day, even when I got up that morning to go I thought how much I hate all the English finals because they are always rubbish to watch.
“I had a bad feeling about it and finally, a few weeks later, I was like, do we really want to win it there in a half-empty stadium or do you want to win it in Rome or wherever?
“Istanbul will do it, I think, and if we don’t win it will be disappointing for a few days, but we are Premier League champions again and we won the FA Cup.”
“That is no joke and this could still be one of the best seasons a football team has ever had. Fingers crossed.’
