Noel Gallagher FINALLY says ‘yes’ to an Oasis reunion with his brother Liam after they split 15 years ago – but all is not as it seems

It is a comeback that the country has been waiting for for fifteen years.

Noel Gallagher has finally said yes to an iconic Oasis reunion, but fans can expect a huge twist if the ’90s rockers reform.

The band’s singer, 54, revealed he was utterly impressed by the quality of the Abba Voyage show in London, which features avatars of the band.

Abba Voyage recreates the look of Abba in the prime of the seventies, with hits such as Waterloo, Mamma Mia and Lay All Your Love On me.

And when asked about the possibility of an Oasis hologram show while speaking to Matt Morgan for his latest podcast, he said yes.

Noel told the show: “I was honestly very impressed with it, but yeah, if anyone wants to do an Oasis version, let us know. I would love it.

“I’d say ‘great’, talk to the guy over there and come up with a number and then he’ll pass it on to me and I’ll say yes or no.”

His surprising comment comes just weeks after his brother Liam dismissed all speculation about an Oasis reunion after rumors circulated that the group were planning to get back together.

The singer, who appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show in March, was quick to emphasize that he hasn’t spoken to his brother Noel in ‘ten years’.

When questioned by Jonathan about the age-old rumors, Liam quickly said, “I haven’t spoken to him in ten years, 2009 I think.”

Oasis – known for Wonderwall and She’s Electric – sensationally split up in 2009 after a backstage row between the warring brothers.

In the fourteen years that followed, Liam and Noel have traded bitter insults in interviews and via social media.

Last year, Liam dropped a major hint at an Oasis reunion, reaching out to his older brother for a “hug,” declaring: “Oasis until I die.”

He wrote: ‘Listen I love Rkid, he has a lot of problems at the moment and it will come naturally, he knows where I am when he needs a hug after a hug Oasis until I die LG x’

The cryptic message received more than 20,000 likes as fans began pinning their hopes on highly anticipated tour dates.

Liam joined John Squire on the show to discuss their brand new album, which is set to reach number one in the official charts this week.

Revealing how they came to work together, Liam explained: ‘At Knebworth John came down at the end to play on one of the tunes.

“So during the rehearsals leading up to it, I hadn’t seen him in ages, so I said, ‘What have you been up to?’ and he said, ‘I wrote some tunes.’ I said, ‘Who sings them?’ and he said, ‘Well, you are.’ And I’d have a year off and everything, you know. what I mean? So it’s his fault.’

When asked who his first choice for the songs was, Liam told John: “You were looking for a girl, weren’t you?” And then you ended up with this kind’. John jokes: ‘Yes, I need new management!’

Explaining why they wanted to work together, John said: ‘We know each other’s music knowledge inside and out, I knew we would always stay on the same page.
