Noel Gallagher FINALLY reveals the reason behind his feud with Adele… after branding the singer ‘awful and offensive’

He is not one to keep quiet about his own views, especially when it comes to the music industry.

And Noah Gallagher has finally revealed the true reason behind his feud with Adele, after calling her “f*****g horrible” and “offensive.”

The singer, 56, revealed it all started after the Hello singer contacted him to meet.

But despite the friendly invite, the Oasis star was unimpressed, he admitted, as it wasn’t from Adele herself.

During a discussion on the Matt Morgan podcast, he insisted that he never started a fight with the singer, which led to him making his drama with her clear.

Speaking up: Noah Gallagher has finally revealed the true reason behind his feud with Adele, after calling her ‘f*****g horrible’ and ‘offensive’

Noel said, “I don’t think I’ve ever gone out of my way to start anything, it’s always been a reaction to some goddamn idiot trying at all.”

“You know me, I keep myself to myself.”

When reminded of his comments about Adele, and that she had never bad mouthed him, he continued, “No, but she sent someone to ask, “Did I want to meet her?”. That’s what pissed me off.

“I’m not one to cause a scene, I just put it in the safe and think revenge is best served cold.”

MailOnline has reached out to an Adele representative for comment.

In July, Noel called Adele “f*****g horrible” in a furious tirade.

The singer compared her to the late music legend Cilla Black and labeled her voice as “offensive.”

On the Matt Morgan podcast, Noel was asked if he was a fan of Adele’s work, and he replied, ‘F***k off, f***ing hell. Name one?

Cheeky: In July, Noel called Adele “f*****g awful” in a furious tirade. The singer compared her to the late music legend Cilla Black and called her voice “offensive” (Cilla is pictured in 2014)

“They’re bloody stupid. It’s terrible. It’s fucking Cilla Black. I find it and that whole thing insulting.’

Adele, 35, is currently performing at a massive Las Vegas residency after returning to music in 2021 with a record-breaking album.

Noel added that the only way Adele’s music could be improved would be for her to play a song he wrote.

He added: ‘When I stop touring, I can see myself just writing songs at home and sending them to my publishers. Maybe in the future.

“I’ll say, ‘Let Adele sing that.’ Don’t call until she’s done the guide song.”

“I want Lewis Capaldi to kill this song, I want him to sit on it from a great height. Make me rich”.’

Noel is no stranger to star hitting, previously calling Sam Smith a “f****** idiot” on a radio show.

During a speech on the Dutch channel Kink, Noel talked about the non-binary singer who called them ‘him’.

Noel was talking about the “current state of pop music” when he turned his attention to 30-year-old Smith, who uses the pronouns they/them.

The Wonderwall hitmaker said: ‘The music has become quite fractured and the charts are dominated by pop. Pop music is okay if the pop stars are cool. Unfortunately today’s stars are goddamn idiots.’

When asked who he thought was one of the “uncool” stars, he quickly replied “Sam Smith.”

When asked why he chose the Unholy singer, Noel seemingly ignored Sam’s pronouns and said, “Look at him!”

Noel also targeted stars who gained fame by appearing on talent shows like The X Factor, notably citing Harry Styles.

To proceed! In May, he also joked that his younger self would be furious that he’d teamed up with his old chart-topper, Damon Albarn (pictured together in 2012).

He told the Through the Decades Podcast last year: ‘The X Factor is a TV show, it has nothing to do with music, it has nothing to do with music at all, and everything that comes out of it has nothing to do with music’.

“You’re not telling me Harry Styles is currently writing a song in a room somewhere. With some joy, he will be surrounded by many girls.

“I can assure you he doesn’t have an acoustic guitar to write a middle eight for anything.”

Noel spoke of Harry’s songwriting skills way back in 2017, saying “My cat could have written that in ten minutes” when referring to Harry’s hit song Sign Of The Times.

In May, he also joked that his younger self would be furious that he’d teamed up with his old hit star, Damon Albarn.

He told Big Issue, “How would my younger self feel about me working with Damon Albarn? It would depend entirely on which side of the bed I got out of that day.

“If you caught me on a good day, I’d say, yes, I could see that happening. On a bad day I’d fuck myself in the ass.”

In March, Adele said her Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace has “brought her back to life.”

Elsewhere, the hitmaker reportedly got emotional when she spoke about her last-minute residency cancellation last year, saying it was “the worst thing I’d ever felt in my career.”

But she proudly declared that she came back and ‘as usual I smashed it’, saying it was the ‘London woman’ in her.
