A driver has been praised for taking action after a woman tried to hold a parking spot by staying in the spot.
Instead of stopping and asking the woman to move aside, the male driver drove his car straight into the parking lot in a Victoria parking lot last Tuesday.
Dashcam footage from the vehicle captured the incident, with footage showing the stunned spot holder being forced to back away.
She initially held on to the front of the car's hood before realizing the driver had no intention of stopping and moved out of the way.

“F*** you!” the woman shouted.
“Go ahead, do it,” the man replied.
Social media users praised the driver after the footage was shared with X.
Others were reluctant to take sides, arguing that neither the driver nor the person standing in the parking lot were in the right.
“Drivers should never use their cars as a weapon, but you have no right to save a place like that,” one person wrote.
'Both are wrong. Furthermore, there is no way I would feel safe leaving my car there unattended after that encounter. There's a good chance a key will get into it, or worse.'
But others were unequivocal about who they support, like the person who wrote: “The driver didn't go that far at all.”
“It is unacceptable to stand there and try to hold the spot,” one person wrote.
Another added: 'Finally someone did what most of us wanted to do.
'There is no such thing as reserving a spot. You're either there or you're not. Simple as that.'
Others made it clear they believed the motorist was wrong.
'The driver collided with a stationary pedestrian. The driver is 100% at fault,” one person wrote.
“Whatever your opinion on 'saving space,' that person hit that woman with his car.”
