No Man’s Sky’s latest update adds new physics and a bug-smashing Expedition

Hello Games has received much praise for their management of Nobody’s heaven; the game has received a ton of updates over the years, from sandworms to settlements across the galaxy. The latest update of the game is the big 5.0, and it is the first part of an update for the game’s world generation.

One of the biggest attractions of Nobody’s heaven is out to find beautiful and strange planets, and the new update does a lot to make that experience deeper and more interesting. Some worlds have been warped by gravitational distortions, creating floating islands that make great bases for building homes. Ocean worlds will now be much more beautiful, with dynamic wave generation and sparkling surface reflections.

None of these additions drastically change the way you play. Nobody’s heavenbut the new landscape should make exploring more enjoyable. I can see myself getting lost and looking at some of the new clouds, or the new wind simulation causing a dust storm on a desert world. There are also new flora and fauna types, including a strange hybrid of animals made up of a complex network of plant parts.

The update also includes the ability to customize solar ships and a new Expedition to defeat insects. Players who participate in the Expedition can earn insectoid armor and new combat upgrades for the Minotaur mech. After a lot of Helldivers 2I am confident that I can join the Vanguard Liquidators and fight against these nasty new insects. I am doing my part!

As “Part 1” already indicated, we’ll likely see more Worlds updates in the future for Nobody’s heaven. Hello Games has put a lot of effort into updating and patching Nobody’s heavenand I’m curious to see how this new, hidden technology will change my adventures traveling to other planets.
