No fur here! Real Housewives of Sydney’s Dr Kate Adams opens up her designer wardrobe and stunning three-storey home to Ny Breaking Australia – as breakout star reveals the feud that’s torn the cast apart
Dr. Kate Adams may have become the breakout star of Binge's The Real Housewives of Sydney this season.
Her outspoken nature has placed her at the center of several feuds, while her status as the only single and childless cast member on the show has redefined what it means to be a Real Housewife.
For years, Australians have seen the 41-year-old in her scrubs at Bondi Vet, but her appearance on RHOS has shown a surprisingly glamorous side of the vet.
Eager to share more of her life, Kate let Ny Breaking Australia into her luxury three-storey Bronte apartment and got caught up in the behind-the-scenes drama that tore the Sydney Housewives apart ahead of the dramatic reunion special.
While she admits her immaculate home may not be as grand as some of the mansions her co-stars live in, Kate says she's proud that she's achieved success on her own terms and that her home is simply stunning.

“I don't live in a five-bedroom house… I did this all by myself,” she says proudly.
“It's not like I'm married to money,” adds the star, who eschews the term “single” in favor of “independently owned and operated.”
Kate is most proud of her walk-in closet, which is filled with designer outfits, shoes and handbags from the likes of Balenciaga, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent and more.
“I really love my closet because obviously I did that myself,” she said, adding that it used to be a children's playroom before she renovated it.
Some of her favorite pieces include a pair of knee-high designer denim boots from Dolce & Gabbana and a matching denim tote bag.

Other trappings of Kate's lavish lifestyle are scattered along the path, from a $100 Diptyque candle on her nightstand to a Peloton bike in the second bedroom and high-end skin care products filling the bathroom.
She has been busy renovating the entire apartment, working floor by floor to get everything ready.
Kate still needs to do the kitchen and plans to add a fireplace on the main floor.
Despite needing a few adjustments, the star says she is happy with the home because it suits her unique lifestyle.
“It's hard when you're on your own because you want something that's really nice, but you also don't want to have one of those six-bedroom houses,” she said.
“It's really hidden, no one can find me,” she continued, before adding, “The only bad thing about it is that Uber Eats can't find me!” But I just feel like my privacy is paramount.”

Reflecting on her marital status, Kate said: 'I don't think it's necessarily something to celebrate, that just because you're single… I think it's just more about what you want in your life.
'I've always said the same thing. Money is about freedom. And so exchanging your freedom for money defeats the purpose. Because you can have all the handbags in the world you want and all the shoes you want, but if you don't have your freedom, it's worth nothing,” she continued.
“A lot of the trolling for me revolves around 'no wonder she's single.' And I often think that's not the flex you think it is. Like: 'no wonder she's single', as if there are no men who want to date me. It's my choice.'
The star, who is openly dating, admits he has “a pretty troubled past with men.”
'It doesn't mean that there is no hope for the future, but it also means that we have learned in our lives that we have to be able to stand on our own two feet, because the worst thing you can ever do is I don't have enough to run away ' she warns.

Despite being open to love, Kate admits that the standards she has set for herself make it difficult to find the right man in Sydney.
“I don't think there's a shortage of really great men. It's just that now, unlike before, I don't know if there are many men who are right for me,” she explained.
“I wouldn't say I'm picky, because I'm not picky, but I'm just a little pickier about what I accept and what I don't accept.”
One thing Kate doesn't want to run away from is the Real Housewives of Sydney drama, which largely involves herself and co-stars Krissy Marsh and Victoria Montano.
The series' biggest feud came after Victoria wore a fur-trimmed jacket to an animal shelter, which stunned animal activist Kate.
“I just think it's not just about my work, it's about people who gave their lives for this particular cause,” the vet said.
'I have never advocated that I am perfect. The point is that this is not Antarctica. It was a detachable fur collar. I didn't ask (Victoria) to undress or change her entire outfit. I only asked her to take off a collar, out of respect for the people who stay in an animal shelter.'

Since that incident, NRL WAG Terry Biviano has clashed with Krissy and Nicole O'Neil, leading to Caroline Gaultier becoming involved while peacemaker Sally Obermeder was caught in the middle of the drama.
Kate admits this has driven a huge wedge between the cast and they have now started avoiding each other at public events.
“We're in a situation where, I think, we're actually in two groups. There is a division there and when we do things, we don't do them together,” she admitted.
The excitement is expected to spill over into the next season, which will begin filming in early 2024.
Speaking to Ny Breaking Australia at the TikTok Awards last week, Krissy played down the drama and said she was excited about the next chapter.
'We are very proud of what we have created. It was very entertaining and has sold to so many countries,” she said.
“And they're all wonderful women. Including us!' Krissy added with a smile.
The Real Housewives of Sydney reunion, hosted by comedian Joel Creasey, airs next week on Binge.
