No dad bod here! MAFS’ Cameron Merchant shows off his toned physique as he goes shirtless for an ice bath on Daffodil Day – after his wife Jules Robinson welcomed their second child

Married At First Sight’s Cameron Merchant showed off his muscular body on Thursday when he stripped down for charity.

The 40-year-old reality star didn’t shy away from going shirtless at the pop-up for ice bath brand Vital+ on Bondi Beach to raise money for Daffodil Day.

Cam, who welcomed his second child with wife Jules Robinson in recent weeks, showed off his figure as he dived into the ice bath during the outing.

The father-of-two looked muscular and athletic as he took to the chilly water with his MAFS grooms Al Perkins and Jack Millar.

Anyone brave enough to dive into the freezing cold four degree water for 60 seconds was given a hooded towel to warm up in and take home.

Cam boasted on his Instagram Stories that he wanted “more ice and make it colder,” while Jack brazenly claimed, “It’s not warm, is it?”

The MAFS colleagues were joined for the charity by Love Island Australia star Cassidy McGill and influencer Caroline Groth.

The aim of the Daffodil Day event was to raise money and awareness for the Cancer Council’s life-saving cancer research.

His barefoot outing came exactly one month after Cam’s wife Jules Robinson gave birth to their second child.

The 2019 Married At First Sight lovebirds, who have gone from strength to strength since the series aired, shared their happy news on Instagram in July.

Hairstylist Jules, 42, and cricketer Cam already have three-year-old son Ollie, and announced they welcomed a baby boy, Carter James, on Tuesday, July 23.

Jules didn’t reveal whether she was having a boy or a girl before she gave birth. She and Cam kept the news a surprise.

To confirm the birth of their new baby, Jules shared a number of heartwarming photos of herself, Cam and their son Ollie doting over the newborn.

The entire family beamed with pride as they cuddled baby Carter James in the hospital, giving a glimpse into this special moment.

Jules also revealed the touching meaning behind her son’s adorable nickname, Carter James, in a lengthy caption.

The proud mother said the name Carter “has a spiritual meaning because it embodies leadership, wisdom, responsibility and creativity. It stands for service, ideals and community spirit.”

She added that people with this nickname are “generally” seen as “hardworking, loyal, disciplined and protective, who value security and maintaining close relationships.”

Jules then went on to talk about the many touching references to her son’s middle name, James. James means ‘gift from God’ and is Cam’s middle name.

The nickname is also Cam’s grandfather’s name, her father’s middle name, and is a tribute to Jules’ ‘oldest dear’ friend James Cleland, who has sadly passed away.

When she announced her baby news she wrote: ‘Carter James Merchant. You are just perfect. We have a beautiful healthy baby boy!! 23/7/24

‘Watching Oliver Chase shake with excitement when he became a big brother and met Baby Carter (as he calls him) #BigCub @babycubsandladylumps was one of the best moments of EVER R.

‘@cammerchant thank you for holding my hand through what felt like a lifetime but magical at the same time. Now a family of four. I love you.

“A huge congratulations to all the midwives at Northern Beaches Hospital. We are so grateful for your care, empathy, knowledge, honesty and support. Thank you for all you do,” she added.
