Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey are perhaps two of the biggest and most influential artists of their generation.

Despite competing against each other on the charts and in the same categories at award shows, the talented pair have managed to build a strong bond.

The singer-songwriters have quite a history together, with a long friendship spanning many years, Hollywood parties and even a musical collaboration.

And now there are rumors that Taylor Swift will join Lana at Coachella when the Brooklyn Baby singer takes the stage on April 12.

The pair first met over a decade ago at the 2012 MTV EMAs, where Lana took the stage to present the award for Best Female Artist.

They had a brief chat as Lana presented the Style singer with her award, but later had a big hug and a quick chat as they posed for photos together in front of the fan section.

The two superstars crossed paths soon after, but most notable were their encounters at Lady Gaga’s star-studded 30th birthday party in 2016.

Proving just how friendly they were, Taylor invited the Born to Die hitmaker to her American Music Awards afterparty in 2018.

The pair looked inseparable at the bash, with Lana even posting an adorable selfie of herself cheek to cheek with Taylor to her private Instagram account.

One of the biggest connections is their work with producer Jack Antonoff, who has produced multiple albums for both women.

Antonoff talked about working with the pair in an interview with Zane Lowe in March.

“Every time we do something new, I joke, ‘I think we still have it,’ because there’s no reason why it keeps coming,” he said.

One of the duo’s most memorable moments came at the Grammy Awards in February.

Not only did they walk the red carpet together, Taylor even dragged Lana onstage with her as she received Album of the Year for Midnights.

A few days after that, Lana attended the Super Bowl with Taylor, who was there to support boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Now, Taylor and Travis are reportedly planning to attend Coachella to support her BFF Lana Del Rey.

The singer, 34, who is currently on a two-month break from her The Eras Tour, will be “renting a house in the area” with the NFL star, 34, for one of two festival weekends on April 12-14 and April 19-21 , a source told Us Weekly.
