NJ political boss George Norcross, who was friends with Pelosi and a member of Mar-a-Lago, is kicked out of Philly’s football suite for flying the Israeli-American flag, with security pulling down the banner as he sees him leads out of the stadium

A New Jersey political boss with ties to powerful Democrats and once a member of Mar-a-Lago was kicked out of a Philadelphia Eagles game for flying the Israeli flag.

George Norcross, 67, was dubbed New Jersey’s “most powerful unelected person” as recently as 2023 and is often sought for endorsements and fundraising by New Jersey Democrats.

Norcross — who also has ties to the national party and has a brother who serves in Congress — was kicked out of Sunday’s Philadelphia Eagles game against the Dallas Cowboys.

He was seen in a video posted on X being escorted out for flying a half-American/half-Israeli flag outside his suite.

Guards were also seen breaking his display as they led him out of the suite.

Earlier in the day, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie stood for an interview with a reporter during a televised pre-game show, with the same flag prominently displayed in the background.

According to New Jersey Globe reporter David Wildsteinit may have come from Norcross himself, as he regularly hosts a tailgate before Philadelphia Eagles games.

Norcross’s power lies in southern New Jersey and especially in Camden, which is just five miles from Philadelphia.

Lincoln Financial Field, where the Eagles play, does not have a specific policy against the flag, but does have rules regarding signs and banners.

“Signs, banners or similar items that are obscene or indecent, unrelated to the event, potentially offensive to other patrons, that may block the views of other fans or that are otherwise considered dangerous or inappropriate by the Eagles are prohibited,” according to their 2014 guidelines.

“Lincoln Financial Field reserves the right to confiscate signs that are in violation of the stadium policy.’

Only America’s top soccer league, Major League Soccer, has responded to the shock Hamas attack that killed 1,400 Israelis on October 7 with a policy specifically targeting Israeli and Palestinian flags.

The league changed its fan code of conduct to temporarily ban “flags representing a country or nationality at MLS matches.”

Norcross has ties to many in politics, including former Gov. Chris Christie. Norcoss is friends with Democrat Nancy Pelosi and a member of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago

Abroad, the English Premier League has also banned Israeli and Palestinian flags for the time being.

DailyMail.com has contacted a Norcross spokesperson for comment.

Norcross recently relinquished his political weight after decades as an organizer, fundraiser and activist for Democratic Party politics.

The New York Times notes, however, that he often “blurred the lines” between Democrats and Republicans, thanks to a close friendship with former Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and a membership in Mar-a-Lago.

He was also a close ally of Christie when he served two terms as governor, helping him push Republican legislation through a state House still dominated by Democrats.

He appeared humiliated after his political clout failed to keep many Democrats in the state Legislature during the tough 2021 election that left Gov. Phil Murphy scrambling for reelection.

“We had a great run for almost 25 years,” he said Politics in May. “And now it’s time for others to lead the party.”

Norcross is also executive chairman of Conner Strong & Buckelew, chairman of the board of directors of Cooper University Health Care, and is currently in active discussions to acquire Republic First Bancorp.

His family’s support for Israel became evident when brother Donald Norcross, a Democrat and member of the House of Representatives, went to Tel Aviv with a congressional delegation just three days after the Oct. 7 attack.

Norcross was seen in meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and reaffirmed his support for the Jewish state.

“It was important for myself and my colleagues to travel to Israel to demonstrate the strength of the U.S.-Israel relationship and our steadfast bipartisan, bicameral unity for Israel and the Jewish people,” the congressman said.

“Israel is our closest and most important ally in the Middle East, and they need our support now more than ever.”

It’s unclear whether Donald Norcross attended with his brother, although he posted on X earlier Sunday advocating for the Eagles, who defeated the Dallas Cowboys.
