The 1990s children’s TV star is unrecognizable after returning to the UK from the US to dedicate his life to fathering his twins

He was known to millions of children’s viewers as one of the regular hosts of Blue Peter in the 1990s.

But, after leaving the show in 1997, he made his way to the United States, where he became a reporter for Access Hollywood and hosted several of the Miss World pageants.

And Tim Vincent, 50, is unrecognizable today after returning to the UK to spend time with his family.

The broadcaster, who is from Wrexham in Wales, has interviewed a plethora of A-listers, including Robert De Niro and Angelina Jolie.

But now it’s more likely that she’s watching Peppa Pig at home with her children, four-year-old twins Felix and Jasper.

He said wales online: ‘I think having kids later in life gives you a whole new perspective on everything.

“You look at everything like, ‘Wow, that’s amazing.’ I love Christmas anyway, it’s one of my favorite times of the year.

“Having little kids running around – this morning they were running around trying to find the elf on the shelf he had strategically placed in his little toy plastic speedboat in the bathroom and they were laughing out loud because they had found Twinkletoes as they have nicknamed him, it’s amazing.’

Tim looks different today from his days hosting Blue Peter, with the screen star appearing on the show in his early 20s.

Success Story: Tim left Blue Peter in 1997 for the United States, where he became a reporter for Access Hollywood and hosted several of the Miss World pageants.

Family affair: Tim is now more likely to be watching Peppa Pig at home with his sons, four-year-old twins Felix and Jasper.

He often takes to Instagram to share photos of himself with his silver hair styled into neat spikes.

Tim says that he has now found ‘more balance in life’, adding about his family life that ‘he has been working since he was 16 years old. I can afford to set different priorities.’

However, Tim hasn’t completely walked away from media work, adding that he recently recorded a series of voiceovers and looks forward to more projects to come.

“Those first 6-12 months you can feel a little detached from events,” he explained.

‘Someone told me, which I’m not sure is absolutely true, but it takes a little longer for a man to bond with children because the child doesn’t recognize you.

“The mother has 90 percent of the time carrying the baby once it’s born, so it takes a little bit of time for us to bond on the same level.”

In Demand: Tim hasn’t walked away from media work entirely, saying he recently recorded a series of voiceovers and looking forward to more projects to come.
