Niners star Kyle Juszczyk gushes over Travis Kelce’s ‘genuine’ support for Taylor Swift

After hanging out with Travis Kelce at the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe earlier this month, Kyle Juszczyk thinks the Chiefs star and Taylor Swift are a perfect match.

The 33-year-old fullback even went so far as to use the word “husband” in comparing Kelce to his 49ers teammate Christian McCaffrey, who married model Olivia Culpo this summer.

“I spent some time with Travis this past weekend,” Juszczyk said We weekly.

“With Travis and Christian, I saw how little I had to say because they were already doing it. They’re both so supportive of their partners and they’ve both been so genuine.”

“I think that’s maybe part of why they’re so beloved by fans and why people love both of those couples,” he continued. “They all stayed so genuine and real. They didn’t become too good for anybody.”

Juszczyk’s wife Kristin, whom he married in 2019, befriended Swift during the 2024 NFL playoffs, when she designed custom Chiefs fan gear for the 34-year-old pop star.

Since then, Juszczyk has noticed that Kelce and Swift are always trying to get things done, despite their busy schedules and the fact that they are at the height of their music and football careers.

“I think having a wife, girlfriend or whatever that’s on the same level as you keeps you grounded,” Juszczyk said.

After the Niners narrowly lost to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl earlier this year, the Juszczyks were spotted on a getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with the McCaffreys and another couple: teammate George Kittle and his wife Claire.

Earlier this month, Kittle hilariously recounted how he texted Kelce asking if he could use the restroom at Swift’s Rhode Island vacation home during the McCaffreys’ wedding in Westerly.

Before Super Bowl LVIII in February, Kittle, a tight end, said of Kelce, his Chiefs colleague: He’s a hell of a football player. He’s probably a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

“So, anything you can get from Travis Kelce is great. And the fact that you guys are friends too makes it a little sweeter.”
