Nine News reporter Tiffiny Genders calls out Sydney 333 bus driver who ‘humiliated’ an elderly passenger in Bondi
A Nine News reporter was shocked after a bus driver launched into a foul-mouthed tirade at an elderly passenger.
Supreme Court reporter Tiffiny Genders called the driver of the 333 bus in Sydney’s eastern suburbs on Tuesday morning.
The bus is carrying passengers from Bondi to Circular Quay, in Sydney’s CBD, with Genders claiming the driver assaulted an elderly woman after she got on it.
“Despicable behavior from a bus driver on 333 from Bondi to Bondi Junction this morning,” she wrote on Twitter.
“Humiliating an elderly passenger… all because she misunderstood an instruction.”

Genders shared a tweet (above) on Tuesday criticizing the driver’s behavior before talking about the exchange on 2GB
Genders shared the horror experience with 2GB radio presenter Ben Fordham on Wednesday.
He asked her if she had her hearing aids on and she was in complete shock. He asked, “Excuse me, what did you just say?” she recalled.
“Then he said, ‘Didn’t you take your medicine today?’.”
The driver then called the older woman a ‘f***ing b***h’.
Genders said the woman was “absolutely furious” at the exchange.
A Transport NSW spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia it is investigating the incident.
“Transport for NSW has requested a formal response from the operator following a CCTV review and an interview with the driver,” they said.
“Bus drivers must be courteous and respectful to passengers at all times.
“Transport for NSW expects carriers to thoroughly train bus drivers to communicate appropriately with passengers, especially when it comes to safety-related matters.”
The bus company Transdev John Holland Buses has also issued a statement.
