Her famous older siblings, Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield, have achieved huge success worldwide as musicians.
And singer Nikola Bedingfield, 39, is poised to see her own star rise, after releasing her own incredible album, Golden Phoenix.
The talented singer told MailOnline that she is definitely not an overnight success, revealed pop star Cheryl, 40, begged her for one of her songs and Nikola also gave an insight into her very talented and musical family.
Nikola, who has taken a more behind-the-scenes approach to her music career through songwriting, has refined her craft over the past decade.
She told MailOnline: ‘Before Covid I was preparing to release my album but then of course we put it on hold after that so over the last few years I’ve been composing a lot and working on film and TV projects like and composing music for commercials.

“Now that I’ve released my album, it feels like the right time. A lot has changed in music. We all sing about deeper subjects and there is a beautiful freedom now.’

She recalled, “I originally wrote that song foMyself and then Cheryl found the song and was like “please, please, please”.
“I was so touched that she thought, ‘I feel this song, I want this song.’ And I was like “OK then”.
“Then I put out a cute version of it and what’s great about this album is I got to do a full blown version with a band sound and that’s how I heard it when I wrote it.”
Nikola’s lips are sealed tight when it comes to discussing her own life and the inspiration behind some of her own love songs.
But she said: ‘Most of my new songs were written before Covid. I watch songs like a movie when I write them.
“Please don’t talk about anyone at that time, but it will remain a mystery,” she said with a wry smile.

Speaking of Natasha, 41, and Daniel, 43, Nikola said she learned a lot from their journey to superstardom.
She said, “I’ve loved watching them grow into who they are and it’s been extremely inspiring.
“It’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown, in their energy, to open up to an audience and I get to watch backstage, where you can really see everyone’s emotions.
“I’m not really worried about the downsides of fame. I’m more focused on the music and being in the studio than hitting clubs.
“Natasha told me that when writing songs it’s often very private, so showing that part of myself is going to be very vulnerable.
“But I’m not afraid of being chased on the street, I don’t think that happens that often in the world I’m in.”
Nikola revealed her brother Daniel, famous for hits like Gotta Get Thru This and If You’re Not The One is about to make a comeback.
She said, ‘Daniel is doing great things, you’re all going to see it. And we have a younger brother called Joshua who also released an album. He’s doing great.’

Talking about her famous family, Nikola said, “We talk every day, we call or FaceTime and we see each other often.
“Natasha often flies to LA to see me and we have this crazy hang, us always make an effort to see each other. we are a real family.
“We don’t talk much about show business, it’s always just family time and it’s incredible.”
Talking about her album, Natasha said her favorite songs are called Sovereign and Remedy.
She said, “When I co-wrote Remedy, we were sobbing the whole way through. At first I was nervous about releasing my music, but my management encouraged me to release it.
“They said, ‘It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just let it go, just be brave.’ It’s good enough. I’m very shy, so it’s hard to bring out something I’ve cried over or loved.”
She added, “The model Ashley Graham has really been an inspiration to me. She gives me courage every day just to be a woman, just to be fully in your femininity, powerful.
‘At the same time, she has a great business mind. She rocks it and I love how vulnerable she is. I love her photos, she is so inspiring to me.’
