“When I was in college, a friend told me to do this and I really didn’t think, I can’t do it, but now I’ve tried,” Lund added.

“It’s great because it really gives my body time to digest what I’ve already eaten during my early mini-dinner and I never go to sleep full, which is a bad thing,” she noted.

‘Sometimes it’s awkward when I go out to dinner with friends, but then I just have a cheat night.

‘I order an appetizer instead of a full meal. No one seems to notice.’

In October, she also said she was staying away from carbs.

“The biggest one is that I stay away from carbs — that means saying no to pizza pasta, which is very difficult because those two items are everywhere, on almost every menu, you can’t avoid them, and who doesn’t love pizza?” and pasta? So it’s a challenge.’

“These are what I used to call sneaky calorie drinks because they don’t seem fattening, but I can tell you that some of them can easily contain 600 calories each.” One can of Coca-Cola contains approximately 140 calories. Take three a day and you’ll add 420 calories to your waistline.

‘If I want to drink something sweet, I take a sip of lemonade, but no more than that. It’s a treat like candy, so I limit my intake.”

‘After the stress of working all day and looking after my son, it’s nice to have some time to myself where I can take care of myself. It really helps reduce my anxiety and helps me fall asleep quickly.”
