Nikki Haley brands Trump a LOSER as she highlights 2024 rival’s previous loss of House, Senate and presidency after he called her ‘unelectable’
Nikki Haley took on former President Donald Trump’s claims that she is “unelectable,” blaming him for the Republican Party’s loss of the presidency and both houses of Congress in 2020.
Trump told his supporters Tuesday at a rally ahead of the New Hampshire primary that both Haley and Ron DeSantis were “unelectable” against President Joe Biden.
He cited both Haley and DeSantis’ support for a 23 percent sales tax, saying, “I think that makes them unelectable.” And there are other reasons why they’re not eligible, but he said Democrats supported them because they wanted to go against them.
At an event in Hollis, New Hampshire Thursday, Haley furiously went after Trump — who leads her by 16 points in the latest New Hampshire poll — over his own electoral failures.
“The reality is: who lost the House for us? Who lost the Senate? Who Lost the White House? Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Donald Trump,” she said.

“Nikki Haley will win them all back,” she added, trying to mock him for not showing up to debates.
Haley has often made the point that Republicans have lost the popular vote in all but one election since 1988.
However, it was the first time she blamed the Republican Party’s defeats squarely on the man who led the party after winning the 2016 nomination.
Trump reiterated at the same event in New Hampshire that he believed the 2020 election was “rigged.”
However, in December, an exclusive DailyMail.com/JL Partners poll claimed that Trump is the Republican candidate best placed to beat Biden in the critical swing states of Arizona and Georgia, although Haley can beat the Democrat in Wisconsin.
The results undermine one of the main arguments of Florida governors Ron DeSantis and Haley: that they are more electable than Trump.
In fact, our swing states survey found that while Trump beats Biden by five points in Arizona, DeSantis can only tie and Haley loses by two points.
In Georgia, Trump beats Biden in a head-to-head matchup by two points, but DeSantis loses by six points and Haley loses by one.
Things are different in Wisconsin. There, Biden would beat Trump and DeSantis by four points if the 2024 election were held tomorrow, but would lose to Haley by one percentage point.
JL Partners surveyed 550 likely voters in each of three key swing states: Arizona, Georgia and Wisconsin. The results have a margin of error of 4.2 percent
Trump has a lead over Biden in Georgia (which the Democrat won by just 0.2 percentage points in 2020), but Haley and DeSantis fall short in our 2024 intentions poll
There is good news for Haley in Wisconsin. Our poll shows that if the election were held tomorrow, she would beat Biden in a head-to-head matchup, while DeSantis and Trump lose.
All results have a margin of error of 4.2 percent but show Trump as Biden’s strongest Republican challenger in at least two of the crucial battlegrounds.
To have a shot at the current president, however, Haley must topple the long odds of defeating his predecessor in the primaries, a odds that seems longer every day after Trump dominated the Iowa Caucus.
Trump appears headed for another big win in New Hampshire next week, despite Haley’s backer Gov. Chris Sununu previously saying his candidate would win.
The survey showed Trump polling at 50 percent in the Granite State just days after cruising to victory in the Iowa Caucuses.
Haley, his main rival in the state, was at 34 percent in the state new poll from Suffolk University/Boston Globe/NBC-1016 points behind the leader after finishing third in Iowa.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who defeated Haley for second place in Iowa, fell 5 percent.
Another recent poll, by WHDH-TV/Emerson, also had Trump with a 16-point lead, but that was when New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was still in the race. Christie’s departure has raised expectations that a large portion of the anti-Trump candidate’s supporters would flock to Haley.
New Hampshire is crucial to Haley’s own battle plans to unseat Trump. The state is allowing unaffiliated voters to cast votes in GOP primaries.

Trump’s campaign also began criticizing Haley on issues ranging from taxes to Social Security — even going after her, saying she “loves China.”
That criticism comes from when she served as UN ambassador – during the Trump administration.
While representing America as ambassador to the United Nations, Haley described communist China as “a really good friend of ours,” according to the publication, which included a clip during Trump’s own meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in an effort to increase pressure to exercise. about North Korea.
Trump also denounced Haley on Tuesday night, accusing her of abusing the party’s election rules.
“Nikki Haley in particular is counting on Democrats and liberals to infiltrate your Republican primaries,” Trump said before an adoring crowd at the Atkinson Country Club.
“You know the left… that’s what happens… has a group of people who are not Republicans, and it artificially inflates its numbers here, even though we’re still ahead by a wide margin.”
Haley fares better among independents in the survey, receiving 44 percent support compared to his 38 percent. But he increased the numbers among Republicans and conservatives.
Trump also continues to lead Biden in hypothetical general election matchups.
a Harris/the messenger Opinion polls showed that, while not a landslide, he would currently enjoy a significant victory in the popular vote if the election were to take place today.
The poll shows Trump leading Biden by a 52-48 margin when matched against each other.
Another survey with voting options for RFK Jr., Jill Stein and Cornel West, among others, shows Trump beating Biden 43-40, with Kennedy leading the rest of the field with 12 percent.
