Dancing With The Stars star Artem Chigvintsev’s wife has left the sleepy California town they call home after he was arrested on domestic abuse charges.
Chigvintsev, 42, was nowhere to be seen when former WWE pro Nikki Garcia, 40, left for Las Vegas on Saturday morning.
The glamorous mother of one was spotted boarding a JSX flight to Sin City at Oakland Airport without her wedding ring, accompanied by her four-year-old son Matteo and an assistant.
Brunette Garcia, who wore a brown scoop-neck top and baggy jeans during the trip, will host a hot dog eating contest between Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi at the Luxor casino on Sunday. The contest will air on Netflix.
The trip comes less than 48 hours after police were called to the couple’s $1.5 million home in Yountville, California, following reports of a fight.

Sources say the couple called 911 twice: first to ask for help for an injury, then they called back and asked emergency services not to come.
But with domestic violence lurking in the background, Napa Sheriff’s Department officers went to the couple’s leafy neighborhood anyway, and took Russian-born Chigvintsev away.
He was booked into the Napa County Jail at 10:59 a.m. on suspicion of domestic violence. He was released on $25,000 bail at approximately 2:18 a.m.

The 911 call, first obtained by TMZnotes that Matteo was in the house at the time of the alleged domestic altercation and that the two were arguing at the time.
‘Initially he came in with a request for medical assistance, but now he states that he got into an argument with his wife and that her wife threw shoes at RP [reporting party]’, the operator said in the conversation.
The dispatcher added, “There is a child on scene. Medical en route. There is an active 415 [disturbing the peace] responsible in the background.’
The arrest, which reportedly came after Garcia threw shoes at her husband, came less than four days after the couple celebrated the anniversary of their August 2022 wedding — with both marking the moment on social media.
Garcia posted photos and videos from the wedding and wrote, “This song is our love story. I will never forget where I was when I asked Jesus about Artem.

Neither has commented on the incident. Garcia released a statement Friday asking for privacy.

Although they seem to be in love on social media, the couple’s relationship hasn’t always been smooth sailing. They met while appearing on Dancing With The Stars in 2017.
After welcoming Matteo in 2020, Garcia admitted on The Tamron Hall Show that she and the dancer both went to therapy, “mainly to be great parents and know how to balance parenting with our own relationship.”
During an appearance on the Off The Vine podcast that same year, the mother of one further explained that they went to couples therapy because of the way Artem spoke to her.
In November 2021, the former WWE wrestler told The Bellas podcast that she and Chigvintsev had gone through a “rough” time in their relationship, but that they were “stronger than ever.”
Last year, Garcia revealed that they both had a “pretty intense” fight with Artem before they tied the knot in 2022.
