The chilling diary entries of a woman found dead in her million-dollar Utah home reveal she feared for her life in her final moments.

Niki Sampson, 47, was found dead last Sunday after officers were called to her home in St George at around 8.35pm.

She was found with “suspicious bruising” on her arms and face, particularly around the mouth, with a mix of fresh and healing injuries, police said. Fox defeated.

Her husband Eric Sampson, 50, who was on parole for a previous domestic violence incident, has now been charged with her murder.

A concerned neighbor called police to perform a welfare check on the mother of three.

She was found unconscious upon arrival at the seven-bedroom, four-bathroom home.

Sampson denied inflicting the injuries, but admitted he did not immediately call 911 when he couldn’t wake his wife.

Police said he gave conflicting accounts of what happened, but admitted to drinking and having “previous physical confrontations” with his wife.

Police data obtained by Fox 13 shows that Niki reported her husband to police on July 25 for an incident.

She said Sampson threw her on a bed, held her down with his knees and pulled her hair.

He was released the same day after promising not to reoffend. No protection order was issued for Niki.

The investigation into Niki’s death is ongoing, St. George police said. Sampson is being held at Purgatory Correctional Facility in Hurricane.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
