Nigora Bannatyne believed an old adage on Wednesday as she showed off her youthful physique while vacationing in the Bahamas.

Indeed, the brunette proved age is just a number as she showed off her washboard abs in a spotted blue bikini as she posed for a series of seaside photos after celebrating her 44th birthday in the West Indies.

In one image, shared with her 29,000 Instagram followers, she leans back against a tangled piece of sun-bleached driftwood, with the azure Atlantic ocean providing a suitably picturesque backdrop.

Nigora, a former dental practice receptionist, is making the most of her time in the Bahamas after jetting off on a birthday holiday with millionaire husband Duncan Bannatyne, 75.

Over the weekend, she praised both her husband and her “beautiful family and friends” for their “kindness and energy” as she shared more photos from the trip.

Indeed, the brunette proved age is just a number as she showed off her washboard abs in a spotted blue bikini as she posed for a series of seaside snaps.

‘I’m grateful for my amazing husband @duncan.bannatyne, my beautiful family, friends…the kindness, energy and endless love and support from you through the good and the bad. I am grateful to be blessed…” she wrote.

“To connect, to lean, to grow, to be inspired to do well and to be able to share our lives together… there are not enough words to express my appreciation and gratitude to all of you!”

Nigora is Duncan’s third wife after two previous marriages to his first, Gail Brodie, in 1987, and second wife Joanne McCue in 2006.

The former Dragon’s Den star has four children with Gail and two with Joanna, while Uzbekistan-born Nigora is also a parent to daughter Gabrielle from a previous relationship.

Duncan proposed to the brunette in 2016 with a £40,000 ring in millionaires’ playground Monte Carlo, just over 12 months after they started dating.

The couple first met in 2014 when Duncan visited the dentist’s surgery in Harley Street, where she worked as a receptionist.

They got married in Portugal in 2017 before heading to Croatia to enjoy their honeymoon.

The business mogul insisted he had been thinking about her from the moment he saw her at the dentist’s office.

He said: ‘I saw her there one day while I was making some crowns. Just as I worked up the courage to talk to her, the buzzer went off for my appointment.

‘When I went home I couldn’t stop thinking about her, I felt obsessed! I felt in love with her.’

Nigora added: “On the first day. He said, “I’m madly in love with you.” I thought he was joking and was speechless!’
