Nigella Lawson’s favourite Australian restaurant where she had ‘one of the best’ steaks in her life revealed
Nigella Lawson has made repeated visits to what has become her favorite Australian restaurant.
The British cookbook author, 64, stopped by Fugazzi Bar and Dining Room in Adelaide, South Australia, twice during her speaking tour.
Run by MasterChef Australia star Laura Sharrad, Lawson said the steak and chips she had at the venue were “one of the best” she had ever tried.
“She said she had walked past Fugazzi the past few days and it smelled wonderful,” Laura said Adelaide now.
‘I was always disappointed she wasn’t on my season of Masterchef, but this was much better than meeting her on the show. She was so easy-going, fun and down-to-earth, we had a great bond.”

Nigella shared a photo of her dinner during her second visit in an Instagram post, writing: ‘Greetings from #Adelaide! It was just great to be able to return to @fugazzi.bdr last night for this empowering celebration.
‘Perfectly cooked tomahawk steak, anchovy hollandaise and fries plus salad on the side’.
Last week she enjoyed some down time at a swanky restaurant in Cottesloe ahead of her first show at Perth’s Concert Hall.

“Saturday night by the sea,” she told followers in the caption, alongside a photo of a beautiful view of the sun setting from Cottesloe Beach.
She also posted photos of her delicious meal.
“(We) started with some exquisitely spicy raw beef tostadas and creamy crab arepas,” she posted.
Nigella also posted a photo of her delicious looking main meal, which included several dishes.

Nigella told her followers that her Roast Chicken with Aji Verde was ‘perfect’ and described the rest of her meal in the post.
‘Green salad with cucumber in a mint vinaigrette, plus fries and spicy mayonnaise, all enjoyed with pleasure while watching the sun set.’
Nigella wowed fans Down Under with her performances on the past two seasons of MKR.
Meanwhile, the much-loved star is on her Evening with Nigella Lawson and had a show in Adelaide at Her Majesty’s Theater on March 19.
