Nigel Farage was pelted with wet cement and a coffee cup when he… Open top bus tour of Barnsley town center today – just a week after being covered in milkshake.

Footage shows a man in a red hoodie scooping up handfuls of cement from a construction site before pelting them at the reform leader.

He is seen being pulled away by construction workers to chants of ‘scum, scum, scum’ before later being arrested by police.

Farage, 60, had just addressed his supporters before he was interrupted by a crowd of protesters and warned by police not to get off the bus.

After the incident, he thanked South Yorkshire Police, adding: ‘I will not be bullied or intimidated by a violent left-wing mob who hate our country.’

It is the second time he has been targeted during his general election campaign, having previously been doused with a milkshake by an OnlyFans model in Clacton, Essex, last week.

Victoria Thomas-Bowen, 25, was arrested on Clacton pier shortly after dousing the new leader of Reform Britain with a banana milkshake on June 4.

The OnlyFans model struck as Farage stepped out of a Wetherspoons pub in the seaside resort.

Thomas-Bowen was arrested on suspicion of assault, taken into custody in Clacton, but later released under police investigation.

The 25-year-old was charged with assault and battery last Wednesday.

Police also said no further action took place against a man who was arrested at the same time on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.

They stated: ‘A woman is due to appear in court following an incident in Clacton.

‘Victoria Thomas Bowen, 25, will appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 2, to answer charges of assault and battery.

‘The charge relates to an incident where a drink was thrown at a man in the area of ​​Marine Parade East, Clacton, at around 2.10pm on Tuesday, June 4.

‘A 44-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker has been released and will face no further action.’

The incident sparked widespread condemnation from MPs across the political spectrum, including Labor leader Yvette Cooper, who called it a ‘disgrace’ and ‘completely unacceptable and wrong’.

Commenting on the milkshake incident, Farage told ITV: ‘I don’t know what was thrown at me but it hit me straight in the face. Quite scary.’

He went on to say that he thinks the dairy drink keeps getting thrown at him because he “goes out to meet the public and no one else does.”

The Clacton incident had echoes of 2019, when he was the victim of a similar stunt in Newcastle.

His attacker was later ordered to do community work and pay £350 in compensation.

Mr Farage has made a dramatic return to the political frontline and has also been installed as leader of Reform UK in place of Richard Tice.
