During the festivities at The Starchild Rooftop, the former X Factor judge posed for a dazzling show with director Jamie Lloyd and her fellow actors.

Nicole originally played the role of Norma when the film premiered in London last year, with West End legend Rachel Tucker replacing her.

She and her co-star Tom Francis both won an Olivier for their performances and Tom will join the Don’t Cha singer again when the show opens on Broadway in October.

Along with their London co-stars Grace Hodgett-Young and David Thaxton, the four looked stunning as they prepared for their Broadway debut.

Nicole recently admitted that despite her success in theatre, she initially felt ‘discarded’ by the industry after her pop career.

She told People: ””I am [46] years old. I have never been stronger — physically, mentally, emotionally. I am in my prime. There is no better time for me to create work that is meaningful in this world.

“That’s the tragedy: You’re in the best place in your life. You’re so full, you have so much to give, and people have rejected you, and rejected you, and said, ‘Your time is up…'”

Nicole then stressed that it was her “lifelong dream” to make it onto The Great White Way, having performed on shows like Cats and Rent since her pop years.

Nicole’s success on Sunset Boulevard in London was not without its problems: when she walked onto the stage during the awards ceremony, she tripped.

After kissing her fiancé Thom Evans, Nicole walked gingerly onto the stage at the Royal Albert Hall in her daring dress.

Presenter Hannah Waddingham helped her up the stairs, but when she reached the top, the actress tripped. Actor David Oyelowo reached out to help her.

In her acceptance speech, she said, “First of all, I want to thank God for saving me from that trip. But seriously, without Him, I am nothing.”
