There was no rest for the wicked on New Year’s Day as Nicole Scherzinger and Thom Evans kicked off 2025 with a grueling workout.

The pair were back in the gym on Wednesday, just hours after celebrating New Year’s Eve with friends at an upscale restaurant in Manhattan.

Nicole and Thom, who met on TV show The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019, were joined by pianist Chloe Flower and entrepreneur Mike Sepso at the Michelin-starred COTE Korean Steakhouse.

The group was later joined by iconic Sunset Boulevard actress Patti LuPone, who replaced Nicole in a Broadway revival of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.

Heading to the gym the next morning, Nicole and Thom seemed full of energy as they worked their way through a series of free-form workout routines.

Based on director Billy Wilder’s 1950 classic film of the same name, it first premiered on London’s West End in 1993 starring Patti Lupone as Norma Desmond, while Glenn Close starred in the 1994 Broadway run.

Close also returned for the 2016 West End revival and the 2017 Broadway revival, although Nicole starred in the 2023 West End revival.

She took home the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical, and after a successful preview run—raising $1 million in its first week—the show opened in earnest at the St. James Theater in October.

Nicole has received numerous standing ovations in her Broadway debut thus far, including one Peoplethat lasted all of six minutes.

Last year it was reported that theater bosses had hired award-winning movement director Ingrid Mackinnon to help Nicole prepare for her intimate scenes with her co-star Tom Francis, according to The Sun.

A show insider told the publication, “Intimacy coordinators are now mandatory because actors need to feel safe with their co-stars.
