Nicole Kidman’s niece Lucia Hawley breaks up with her three-year boyfriend Henry Poole and reveals they’re about to take a very serious step in their relationship

She has been telling her mother about her love life for months after taking the limelight with a career in TV.

But Nicole Kidman’s niece Lucia Hawley has now come out in the open with her boyfriend of three years, Henry Poole.

Despite posting photos of her boyfriend on Instagram over the years, the aspiring TV reporter had never spoken publicly about him until now.

“We met when I was 21 and he was 22, and in a short space of time it feels like we’ve been through a lot together,” the 24-year-old 7Bravo presenter told The Daily Telegraph.

“Graduating from university, weathering the pandemic, starting new jobs, there’s something to be said for being able to share such pivotal moments together, you really feel like a team.”

Lucia added that the couple plans to take the next step in their relationship by moving in together next year.

Henry and Lucia met three years ago at a mutual friend’s 21st birthday party.

Henry got her attention by asking if they had ever met before.

“His pick up line apparently worked because we talked all night, and here we are three and a half years later,” she explained.

Lucia has followed in the footsteps of her mother Antonia, who worked as a journalist for Channel 9 and NBN Television.

Speaking on Women’s Day last April, the young journalist said her family ties have made her more determined to prove herself in the industry.

“I would never deny my privilege and I actually raise my hand completely and say, ‘Yes, I’m privileged, I come from a really privileged family and I’m so grateful for the opportunities that have come my way because of it,” she said.

“All I can do is work hard and make an individual name for myself and prove myself.”

Discussing her “fake baby” title, she added, “If that’s the worst thing that’s been said about me, then so be it.”
