Nicole Kidman shows off her toned back as she strips down and gets fitted for her Met Gala gown

Nicole Kidman has posted rare backstage footage of her glamorous red carpet look for the 2023 Met Gala.

In a series of photos uploaded to Instagram on Tuesday, the Australian actress, 55, showed off her incredible figure as she posed in her hotel room in her stunning dress.

The Hollywood star showed off her toned back as she donned her pink dress – the same one she wore in her iconic Chanel No. 5 commercial from 2004.

Nicole also revealed the dress’s dramatic four-foot train, made of silk tulle and embroidered with 250 pink ostrich feathers.

She shared another photo showing off the dress’s 3,000 silver crystals and sequins as she waited for the elevator.

The A-lister made sure to keep the focus on her gorgeous gown by sporting simple black strappy stilettos and a very understated hair and makeup look.

Her strawberry locks were in a straight style with a slight wave.

The dress code of the 2023 fashion show is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, a tribute to the late controversial fashion designer.

Nicole wore the same dress, designed by Lagerfeld herself, in her 2004 commercial for Chanel N°5 ‘Le Film’, directed by Baz Luhrmann.

The extravagant 180-second ad cost a staggering $33 million and is still considered the most expensive ever made.

At the time, Baz and Nicole were still enjoying their recent success from their movie Moulin Rouge!, whose aesthetic was reflected in Chanel’s ad.

In the commercial, Kidman played a Hollywood star desperate to escape the paparazzi.

Wearing her iconic pink dress, she flees the red carpet and hops in a cab with her on-screen love interest, played by Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro.
