Nicole Kidman reveals exciting TV project following the success of Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers
Nicole Kidman is set to take on another TV project.
The Hollywood star, 56, told a crowd at Sydney’s SKSSV festival on Thursday that she was ready to revive “The Last Anniversary,” her third series based on the book by Liane Moriarty.
After the success of Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers, the renowned actor will once again collaborate with fellow film producer Per Sari.
Leanne, 56, published The Last Anniversary in 2006, writing a tale of intrigue about a woman who inherits a home on a mysterious island.
Nicole’s television adaptation will be filmed in Australia, and will star actors from Down Under.

“Australian accents, an Australian project with Australian accents for the world.” This has been a long time in the making,” Nicole told the audience at SKSSV.
She went on to say that she is thrilled to be working on another production based on Liana’s story, as they have so much in common.
“She’s the same age, she’s got kids, she’s been through similar things at different times.” She became a great friend,” said the movie star about the author.

Meanwhile, Nicole and Per have worked together since their first Rabbit Hole project in 2010, continuing to develop the highly acclaimed Big Little Lies.
They also worked together on the long-awaited Lulu Wang Expats series, which will be released next year.
Nicole also paid tribute to late showbiz powerhouse Brian Walsh, who passed away earlier this year.

She said The Last Anniversari – which he was involved with during pre-production – will “carry on his fantastic legacy”.
At the SKSSV festival, which is an eight-day event, American singer Chance the Rapper also discussed the huge influence of hip hop.
Other speakers included Coachella CEO Paul Tollett, Queer Eye star Tan France, Laine Beachley and Masked Singer host Osher Gunsberg.
SKSSV Sydney runs from October 15-22 at various locations across Sydney.
