Nicole Kidman is making a steamy return to the big screen as she’s set to star in two erotic thrillers – following 1999’s Eyes Wide Shut
It’s been 24 years since Nicole Kidman last took on an erotic role when she co-starred with Tom Cruise in the steamy and controversial Eyes Wide Shut.
And now the 55-year-old Hollywood actress will star in two big-screen erotic thrillers.
She will be playing a femme fatale in a few projects to be shot back-to-back in a few months.
The first film is a “Hitchcockian” thriller called Holland, Michigan, where she will star alongside Matthew Macfadyen.
Macfadyen, whose star is on the rise thanks to his career-making performance as Tom Wambsgans in Succession, will play Kidman’s husband in the picture.

It’s a cat-and-mouse story about a teacher who starts an affair, only to find out that her husband leads a double life of his own.
It seems that the actress is eager to be launched back into the erotic movie scene as there are reports that once filming in Holland, Michigan wraps up, she has agreed to star in Babygirl.
The steamy script is about a career woman in her 40s who has a dangerous relationship with a 21-year-old intern.

Kidman, it was going to be very busy as she will also be gracing Netflix in its new limited series The Perfect Couple.
She will star alongside Liev Schreier in the star-studded adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s thriller novel of the same name.
The Hollywood actress plays murder mystery writer Greer Garrison Winbury as she plans a wedding for her son and future daughter-in-law, played by Eve Hewson.

The plot follows Hewson’s character, Amelia Sacks, who is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket when a dead body appears on the beach.
As the plot unfolds, everyone is a suspect in an investigation that plays out like one of the mystery novels Kidman’s character would write.
Production on the series will begin in April, with Jenna Lamia as showrunner and executive producer and Susanne Bier as director and executive producer.
Kidman – who shares her older children, Isabella, 30, and Connor, 28, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, and younger girls Sunday, 14, and Faith, 12, with country singer Keith Urban – recently wrapped footage for her latest spy thriller project Lioness in Spain.
