In Zenless Zone ZeroYou get Nicole for free, so you’ll definitely want to improve your relationship with her to take advantage of some unique benefits. While talking to Nicole every day is a great way to gain her trust, specific answers will earn you trust faster.

As you gain more confidence, you’ll get Polychromes, materials to improve your skills, some bonuses in Hollows, and most importantly, the ability to set that character as your background on the menu screen.

Below you will find the best answers to choose from when talking to Nicole about her trust events and trust invitations.

Nicole Trusts Events Best Answers in Zenless Zone Zero

If you see Nicole’s portrait on the navigation screen, it means she’s waiting nearby for a potential trust event. Approaching and talking to her while she has gray ellipses above her head will earn you some trust, but you have to be careful: answering with the wrong answers can lower your trust.

Below we list Nicole’s possible locations and the best answers to answer to gain trust. Please note: not every prompt will inspire trust, even if you choose a seemingly favorite answer, so we only list the answers that will increase your trust.

There are still a few trust events missing as we are still working on resolving them all(It’s a lot of trial and error with a daily limit, so it takes us some time.) We’ll update this guide with more answers to trust events as we find them.

141 Convenience (Sixth Street)

Nicole will be standing in front of the grocery store muttering about the competition that is starting to happen. She will say, “What a coincidence, running into you like this. It seems like we really have a strong bond~” to which you will have to reply, “It is indeed fate,“for an increase in confidence.

Coff Café (Sixth Street)

Nicole only appears after you’ve entered and exited Coff Cafe. Once you do, she’ll talk about the success of the Cunning Hares. The options here are a little iffy, as the first choice can be “Congratulations!” or “Don’t you think that’s suspicious?” Choose “Congratulations!” for a significant increase in trust. If that’s not an option, choose the second option, “I hired someone to write those positive reviews,” for a regular increase in trust.

Newsstand (Sixth Street)

Interact with the kiosk and then leave to make Nicole appear. She will appear and say “Did you hear the word on the street…?” to which you must respond with “I have heard,” or “Not yet…“to get a trust increase when the event ends. If you choose “When will you pay me back?” you will get a trust decrease.

Coff Café (Sixth Street)

This is another event that requires you to go in and out of the cafe. When you do, Nicole will tell you that the Hares don’t have much money. The choices you make don’t matter, but if you offer her money, she’ll say “Well, consider yourself lucky that we were the only ones fooling around. Someone else might have taken all the Dennies out of your pocket~” Reply with “I have faith in you,“to get a significant increase in confidence.

Waterfall Soup (Sixth Street)

You need to interact with Waterfall Soup and then leave the shop so Nicole can appear during this event. Once you do, she will come up to you and ask if you want to help her with something. She will say “I’ll take the Black Bowl Mushrooms Noodles, minus the mushrooms~” and you can reply with “I’m going right now,“for an increase in confidence.

Nicole Trust Invite the best answers in Zenless Zone Zero

If you DM Nicole, you can meet her at one of three locations on Sixth Street. This will definitely increase your trust, but specific answers will earn you extra points.

‘Earn a Fortune with Gacha!’ (Box Galaxy) best answers

Nicole will ask you which of the two gacha machines she should pull. When you ask her, say: “The one on the left,” for a significant trust increase. The rest of your answers don’t matter, and you still get a trust increase at the end.

You can also get a regular boost in confidence if you tell her, “I’m having a hard time making a choice” and then select, “Heads, which side?” when she asks about flipping a coin, but simply telling her to use the machine on the left will give you more confidence.

‘How to Get Happiness’ (Coff Cafe) best answers

None of your answers here matter until Nicole asks, “Feeding Mr. Panda should work the same way, right?” to which you should reply, “You may be rightfor an increase in confidence.

Your confidence will ultimately increase no matter which answer you choose.

‘Automata are a gem’ (automata) best answers

Based on our testing, none of the answers here will affect the trust you increase. No matter what you choose, you will get a regular increase in trust at the end of the conversation. Therefore, we recommend choosing one of the other two trust invite events instead of this one to gain more trust.
