Nicolas Cage had all eyes on him as he arrived at the premiere of his new comedy Dream Scenario during the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday.

The Hollywood A-lister, 59, looked cool in an all-black animal print suit with a matching shirt, tie and shoes and oozed confidence as he walked from his car to the venue.

Cage — who was one of the few actors to land an interim deal from SAG-AFTRA to attend the festival amid the actors’ and writers’ strikes — waved friendly to fans and photographers before hitting the red carpet.

Although he shot a slew of solo photos, Cage made a point of posing for photos with the talented cast and crew of Dream Scenario prior to the screening.

For his latest role, Cage plays Paul Matthews, a down-on-his-luck professor who finds his life turned upside down when millions of strangers suddenly start seeing him in their dreams.

Written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the storyline for Dream Scenario focuses on Cage’s Paul Matthews character, who never made it big in his life, but now becomes an overnight celebrity after being in everyone’s dream appeared.

But eventually, his nightly performances take a nightmarish turn, forcing Paul to navigate his newfound stardom, according to IMDb.

In addition to Cage, the comedy film also stars Julianne Nicholson, Michael Cera, Tim Meadows, Dylan Gelula, Lily Bird, Dylan Baker and Jessica Clement.

Dream Scenario is scheduled to be released widely by A24 on November 10.

While Cage now focuses on promoting Dream Scenario, he’s also directing as much love and attention as possible to his daughter August, who just celebrated her milestone first birthday.

“Over the course of my career, I have paid at least $70 million in taxes, but unfortunately due to a recent legal situation, there is approximately another $14 million owed to the IRS,” Cage told People magazine at the time. NBC News.

He continued, “However, I am under new business management and am pleased to say that I am current for 2009, all taxes will be paid, including any state taxes to be determined.”
