However, this didn’t stop people from speculating if she might be expecting her first child, with one user writing: ‘Baby on the way?’

Another user added: “She looks pregnant,” while a third said: “OMG I thought that was a pregnancy announcement.”

Nicola previously revealed that she had written, produced and co-directed an independent film called Lola James.

Brooklyn shared Nicola’s photo on her Instagram Stories and wrote: “So proud of you can’t believe you wrote, directed and starred in this love you xx.”

According DeadlineThe film is set in 2002 in the Midwest and centers on Lola (Nicola), a 19-year-old trying to save money to get her younger brother Arlo out of their toxic home.

Virginia Madsen will play Lola’s mother, Mona, a religious woman who demands strict obedience from her children.

The film has wrapped production, though it doesn’t seem like it’s been given a release date yet.

Nicola also shared other snaps from the film, including one in which actor Luke David Blumm, who plays Arlo, gave her a hug.

In another shot, she posed in a white vest sitting in a car, while another showed her wrapped in a robe sitting at a counter.

Most recently, the blonde beauty played real-life Playboy playmate Dorothy Stratten in the Hulu miniseries Welcome to Chippendales (2022).

It comes after A new lawsuit claimed that the actress’ father, Nelson Peltz, 80, wanted to call off her ‘sh*t show’ wedding in Brooklyn, but that her mother Claudia, 67, feared it would ‘destroy’ her career. .

The alleged details of the star-studded wedding, which took place in April, were revealed in a counterclaim filed by planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba, whom Peltz says he fired just weeks before the wedding for alleged “mistakes.”

Nicola’s lavish wedding to Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn, took place at the Peltz family’s $91 million mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, last April, and reportedly cost more than $3.6 million to carry it out.

Although Nicola called the three-day evening the “most beautiful weekend of my life,” the lawsuits filed by her father and the fired wedding planners paint a more complicated picture.

Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba of Plan Design Events were “devastated” earlier this month when billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz filed a lawsuit demanding the return of his nearly $160,000 deposit for the couple’s alleged “mistakes.”

But last week, Braghin and Grijalba responded by calling Peltz a “billionaire bully” and filed a countersuit in a Miami court for breach of contract and “interference” in a business deal.

They are also suing the bride Nicola, Claudia and wedding designer Rishi Patel for damages of at least $49,000 plus costs, which could run into hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Braghin and Grijalba’s company, Plan Design Events, was hired in February 2022, just six weeks before the lavish wedding. More than 500 guests attended, including TV chef Gordon Ramsay, desperate housewife Eva Longoria, Spice Girls Mel B and Mel C from Victoria and David Beckham’s former Manchester United teammate Phil Neville.

The planners agreed to a fee of $320,000, and Mr. Peltz paid a deposit of half that amount.

They took over from Preston Bailey, an industry icon who previously planned Catherine Zeta-Jones’s wedding to Michael Douglas. He said that he left by mutual consent after a year of work because his schedule was ‘overcommitted’.

But the planners who replaced him say things were so chaotic, with multiple guest lists and a girlfriend reportedly “too busy” to talk on the phone, things quickly went downhill.

The court documents contain hundreds of text messages and WhatsApp emails showing that guest lists were incomplete, travel arrangements had not been made and even flowers and cake had yet to be sorted out. The hair and makeup artists and the photographers and videographers had also not been confirmed.

And when the planners came up with an idea for a wedding ring, Nicole called them “cheesy” and only wanted the lead singer.

Ms. Braghin and Ms. Grijalba say they worked 17-hour days to try to meet their clients’ demands. And while there had already been reports of a fight between Nicola and her soon-to-be mother-in-law over the bride choosing to wear a Valentino couture gown over a Victoria-branded one (a fight Nicola later denied), it was clear, says the lawsuit, that the Peltzes did not want their new in-laws privy to breaking technical issues.

“Both Claudia and Nicola had insisted that Victoria Beckham could not know of any internal errors regarding the ongoing planning of her son’s wedding, including errors with the guest list,” the court filing says.

During a meeting on March 1 last year: ‘Nelson said, in front of Braghin and Grijalba, that he wanted to ‘cancel the wedding’ and that it was ‘a show’, but Claudia begged Nelson not to because it would ‘destroy’ Nicola’s career.’ ‘

While Mr. Peltz paid more than $3,000,000 for the event, court documents allege there were some expenses his wife wanted to keep private: “Nelson Peltz is believed to have paid more than $100,000 plus travel expenses for services of Nicola’s hair and makeup for the wedding, Claudia mentioned to Braghin that Nelson couldn’t know the cost or he would “kill her and be very angry”.

Nicola previously credited her mom for being “a huge help at my wedding” in a September 2022 interview with Wonderland magazine. She also noted that she was filming Welcome to Chippendales while the wedding was being planned.

Ms Braghin, 42, and Ms Grijalba, 40, who have spent 17 years building their business, reveal that Nicola sent them an effusive text the day before they were fired saying: ‘You are! killing!’ Their lawsuit also includes messages from Brooklyn, whom they describe as “a perfect gentleman,” praising them “for everything they’re doing.”

A source told The Mail on Sunday: ‘This lawsuit epitomizes the world of the super-rich. These event planners found themselves in a tough spot, just six weeks before a wedding that was going to turn heads the world, and they poured their hearts and souls into it. Nothing seemed to be good enough. This sheds light on how the other half lives, and it’s not always a pretty picture.”

A Peltz spokesman said last night that the planners’ complaint “is replete with inaccuracies and their claims are without merit.”

Nicola and Brooklyn began dating in October 2019, but went public with their relationship the following January.

The couple was introduced six years before their 2022 wedding through Nicola’s brother Diesel while attending the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

She recalled that she and the aspiring chef “didn’t really get along” when they first met and “it just didn’t click.”

Brooklyn proposed to her in July 2020, but later revealed on her online cooking show, Cookin’ With Beckham in 2021, that Nicola gave her a “delayed yes.”

“He started crying profusely, but he didn’t say yes for five minutes,” he recalled to co-host Sebastián Yatra.
