Nicola Peltz has addressed her rumored ‘feud’ with mother-in-law Victoria Beckham in a new interview with The times.
The actress, 27, confirmed the rumors started after she didn’t wear Victoria’s wedding dress design when she tied the knot with 48-year-old eldest son Brooklyn, 23, in April.
But she denied that the icy tensions were a “feud” and explained that Victoria’s studio simply hadn’t had time to make the dress.

Nicola said, ‘It’s not a feud! I keep seeing that word everywhere, “feud, feud, feud!?” I mean, maybe they picked up something? And now they call it feud?’
“I think it all started, and I’ve said this before because I didn’t end up wearing Victoria’s wedding dress, but the real truth is I really really wanted to wear it and I loved it so much that Brooklyn’s wedding dress mommy has to do that for make me! And I was really excited to wear it! And in the end I didn’t wear it.’
She went on to say, “But honestly, I was really excited to wear her dress. I get sad when I read things that people say I never intended to wear. That’s just not true.’
This isn’t the first time Nicola has dismissed the feud, saying she believes it all started when she chose Valentino couture over Victoria’s design.
Confirmation: The 27-year-old actress confirmed the rumors started after she didn’t wear Victoria’s wedding dress design when she tied the knot with 48-year-old eldest son Brooklyn, 23, in April.
She told Variety: “I planned and I really wanted to, and a few months later she realized her studio couldn’t do it, so then I had to choose another dress.
‘She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started.’
Brooklyn added in a rather muted defense, “Everyone gets along, and that’s good.”
However, Victoria managed to dress herself and other loved ones in designs from her eponymous fashion label – including BFF Eva Longoria, mother Jackie Adams and son Romeo’s then-girlfriend Mia Regan.

Elsewhere in the interview, Nicola gushed about her “legend” father-in-law David Beckham, describing 11-year-old Harper as the “coolest sister.”
She said Brooklyn wants kids right away, but she wants to wait a few years and they both want a big brood.
Nicola seemed to quell rumors of a feud between herself and her famous mother-in-law by attending the designer’s show last month.
When Nicola and Brooklyn attended the Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show on Friday, September 30 – the invitation was seen as an ‘olive branch’.
They arrived half an hour early to show their support, with “lots of hugs” as they were all reunited for the first time since this summer, a source in the audience said.
And video footage shot outside the event showed Victoria laughing with her son Brooklyn, while Nicola socialized with Cruz’s friend Tana Holding and Harper Seven.

It comes after months of alleged icy tension between the Peltzs and the Beckhams following reports claiming Nicola and Victoria, 48, “don’t like each other and don’t talk”.
The Beckhams refused to pay for Brooklyn’s US green card, a source claimed at the time and reportedly there were problems between their two homes.
Peltz, the daughter of New York billionaire Nelson Peltz, is now said to live with her husband in Miami, but fans have noticed that the couple has seemingly drifted away from Posh and Becks since the wedding.
Amid reports of Nicola and Victoria’s epic fallout, fans also questioned Victoria’s rather emotionless celebratory Instagram post after her son’s wedding – as she just wrote: ‘Congratulations Mr and Mrs Beckham. Welcome to the x family.’

Many soon noticed that Victoria was not using Brooklyn and Nicola’s official new joint surname – Peltz-Beckham – sparking further speculation that the post was, in fact, disguising their growing tensions.
Other clues pointing to the cold war between the Beckham women included when Nicola failed to post an image with Victoria at the glamorous reception – despite her caption ‘family is everything to me’.
Since then, Nicola and Victoria have barely liked each other’s photos on social media, despite always supporting each other online.
Rumors were also heightened when fans noticed Brooklyn went missing on his family vacation last week when Victoria and Beckham were seen vacationing on a yacht in Palm Beach, Florida.
Posh last liked one of Nicola’s posts on May 26 — and she didn’t like any of the images Peltz-Beckham shared of her honeymoon with Brooklyn.
Meanwhile, Nicola Posh hadn’t liked posts about her 29th Vogue magazine cover, her wedding anniversary to David, or even Harper’s 11th birthday. She also didn’t like a message wishing David a happy Father’s Day, despite her husband Brooklyn being in the message.
And the rift between mother and daughter-in-law has also reportedly turned Brooklyn’s relationship with his parents upside down, with a source telling Page six: “They haven’t spoken much to him in recent months.”
The Beckhams were apparently not happy when Nicola’s glitzy close-up appeared on the front cover of British socialite magazine Tatler – published with the in-your-face headline ‘The New Mrs Beckham’.
It’s a title Victoria, of course, has worn with pride since she married footballer Becks in July 1999.
Brooklyn posted the gorgeous front of his adoring wife, captioning it, “Wow. I’m so proud of you baby. You look absolutely gorgeous and I am so in love with you. Congratulations honey.’
The Instagram post was not to the liking of his mother, Victoria.
Opening into the Tatler interview, fans believed Nicola was revealing devious digs into how David and Victoria had previously treated her husband Brooklyn, 23.
She told the magazine: ‘Brooklyn felt a lot of pressure to please people with his career and he didn’t like it.’
And Nicola also said that Brooklyn often turns to her 80-year-old father, Nelson Peltz, for business advice — rather than his singer, fashion designer, multimillion-dollar mother, or his legendary former footballer father.
She said: ‘Brooklyn is doing very exciting things with his shows and also business stuff and it’s very sweet. I see him call my father and say, “What do you think of this?” I love seeing how he learns from my father.’
The frosty online relationship between Nicola and Victoria is in stark contrast to the once loving Instagram connection that existed between them.
In 2021, Nicola said Victoria was her “role model” and said “I love you so much” in a series of photos she posted for Posh’s birthday.
And Victoria’s Instagram always had loving posts about 27-year-old Nicola, including the adorable caption when Brooklyn got down on one knee: ‘The MOST exciting news!!
“We couldn’t be happier that Brooklyn and Nicola are getting married! I wish you lots of love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you so much.’
However, another insider said that talking about a schism is “silly” and that David and Victoria are meeting the newlyweds in America soon – pointing out that they all recently went out for dinner in Venice.
