“I can’t wait to walk this path again, a path that is both familiar and completely unknown,” Bethany wrote in their own post.
‘Thank you [Nico] because I’m the ultimate tummy buster, crepe seeker, and Kilmer pacifier so I can add another 30 minutes to my nap. Kilmer Dove, you are my first, and I love you. But soon I want you to stop sticking your finger in my belly button while shouting ‘BA BA!’ shouts.’
Meyers admitted that it “took years to conceive our” first child, so they wanted to “recognize that when you’ve experienced pregnancy loss or struggled to conceive, pregnancy announcements always feel bittersweet, sometimes even your own.”
“It’s not lost on me that some people reading this are still hoping for their first as I announce my second,” the I Am More Than My Body author explained.
“There are never any words that will make it better, so I won’t try to offer them. I will simply let you know that you are seen and your sorrow is held, even in my joy.”
Bethany originally started dating Tortorella in 2007 after meeting in college.
